He was talking about using them without cause.

If you don't see the distinction, you should just go back to your lady-boy.
“I will speak until I can no longer speak,” Paul said as he began. “I will speak as long as it takes, until the alarm is sounded from coast to coast that our Constitution is important, that your rights to trial by jury are precious, that no American should be killed by a drone on American soil without first being charged with a crime, without first being found to be guilty by a court.”

NO I ThINK HE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT USING THEM ON US SOIL THAT WAS UNTIL YESTERDAY WHEN HE SAID WE COULD USE THEM TO BLOW UP A LIQOUR STORE ROBBERY SUSPECT

"I've never argued against any technology being used when you have an imminent threat, an active crime going on," Paul said. "If someone comes out of a liquor store with a weapon and fifty dollars in cash. I don't care if a drone kills him or a policeman kills him."

Dude, someone in the process of committing a crime is different to someone googling how bombs are made out of curiosity.

Opossum head was protesting in defense of the latter, I don't even like the faux-Libertarian Paul family but lets not talk complete bullshit.

Wanna talk about something significant? Lets talk about Executive Privilidge being used on Fast and Furious.
According to MSNBC that didn't happen can't find anything but an opinion piece... On aother totally unrelated note, O'dogz will be speaking at the planned parenthood conference on Friday...

You mean to tell me CNN took something a politician who does not share the current admin agenda, and took it out of context to make that person look like an idiot????

And Cheezusisfuckingdumb took the story and ran with it? totally believing everything he was just told by the same news agency that has been caught multiple times making shit up?

Nothing unusual about that.

Sen. Rand Paul’s scramble this week to clarify his remarks on whether drone killings should be allowed on American soil underscores a key challenge facing the ambitious Kentucky politician: translating his libertarian principles into clear policy positions.
Mr. Paul, a likely 2016 contender for the Republican presidential nomination, said Tuesday that “I don’t care” if drones are used to kill gun-toting liquor store thieves — a comment that sparked an outcry from some of the small-government advocates and strict constitutionalists who have championed the Kentuckian.
They dubbed him a “traitor” and wondered how he could be OK with the government targeting common criminals with drone strikes just weeks after arguing in his high-profile 13-hour filibuster earlier this year that “no American should be killed by a drone on American soil without first being charged with a crime, without first being found to be guilty by a court.”

Americans are killed on American soill by police everyday. Why does it matter if it is a gun or a missle?
So you are in favor of militarizing the police even more? And I am pretty sure that a missle might have some problems with "over blast"

Kinda makes Rand paul a hypocrite of the highest order doesn't it?

It's not he killing, we don't mind that. It is a matter of the Law.

Now,I myself, can shoot the perp coming out a liquor store firing his weapon. If I was in the store the rules are even more lax.

For a cop the rules are more strict. He has public safety and custody in mind for the perp, I don't. I have mind only for personal safety and the safety of others around. And I'm not wearing a vest. I'll shot first if I can't get close enough to club him.

So, if the drone is a cop's gun and the cop is operating the gun, the same rules apply. It doesn't matter if it's a drone or a 9mm handgun.

Now Paul stepped on his dick in public, the bane of politics. He linked in an orthogonal argument about robbery, that left him wide open....was it in response to a press question, he fell for?

Tell that to the police in Boston who fired wildly on suburban streets. They were lucky no one was killed.

What if we put guns on drones? Problem solved. lol

I heard some bonehead the other day say the Privilege was not in the Constitution.

Fools. We have a very detailed Constitution, that grants rights to govt, not the other way, just get over it.

It's our Lord or the Flies Island and we run it ourselves. It ain't as easy as blame the King, I'll tell you that.

WTF Doer....
You say this, and yet you argue the right to bear arms.
Do you even read what you post?

(CNN) - Some members of Sen. Rand Paul’s loyal group of Libertarian followers were outraged Tuesday after the Kentucky Republican said he would be fine with a drone strike killing an American citizen robbing a liquor store with a gun.
“We shouldn’t be willy-nilly, looking into their backyard at what they’re doing. But if there is a killer on the loose in a neighborhood, I’m not against drones being used to search them out, heat seeking devices being used,” Paul said in an interview on Fox Business Network.

“If someone comes out of a liquor store with a weapon and $50 in cash, I don’t care if a drone kills him or a policeman kills him,” he added later.
Consider the source, this is coming from a guy who still believes in perms..

The strange thing about politics is the more outrageous they are, the more love they get from their base.
The outrageous award typically goes to the right wingers..but we have new contender, Anthony Weiner and his weiner..politics is THE single best reality show out there!
