What nutes are best to start off with?

just pick a line of nutrients and go for it, they're all good.

yep, what ganjababy said. dont make picking fertilzer harder then it should be. they all should have what the plants need. u better learn how to ph too if you dont already or else your next post will be "omg, whats wrong with my plants, why are they crispy? waaaaaaaaa"

I have switched from "store bought" nutes like FoxFarm (which kick ass, by the way) to a more organic approach that can be purchased locally. Long Story!

My goal is to find the right (moderately strong and balanced) potting mix to transplant into after the first month. Then suppliment with "high-N" during veg and "high-P" during flower. Nothing very fancy here, just basic "KISS" (Keep It Simple Stupid!).

I am pretty new to doing organics "from scratch" , but learning is half the fun, right?

I have been using botanicare pro bloom as well with the botanicare Sweet. I was wondering, how often did you use the bloom? and did you use all the way up until the end of flowering?

I feed the bloom every watering at 30ml per gallon, I bump it up to 45ml per gallon during the 4 to 6 weeks of flowering and I flush for 10 to 14 days. I'm going to get some clearex to flush this time, so I will cut my flushing time down to a week or less.
