Ok so I am getting close to my harvest time, I have built a small sealed drying room and I am now dialing it in ,my question is what do you find in your experience is the best temp and humidity for drying. the reason I have bult this controled enviorment is because this time of year my humidity and temps can vary greatly day to day. up to 20 deg and up to 30% humidity swings

I also would like to know the same for curing what temp and humidity do you find you are curing at your best.

This will be my first real harvest attempt ,and Ive read alot ,but to me its the person who has the experience of doing many harvest that really understands how to dry and cure.

Make sure to cut it after the 12 hour dark period right before the lights come on so the starch built up during the day has enough time to be broken down and used up.

Burning the remaining starch and sugar is what the cure is all about, so starting with less starch in the plant really helps the cure along.

To tell you the truth I've never paid attention to temp and humidity while drying as long as the buds feel dry and crispy without crushing them they're ready, so can't help there, as for curing once in the jar I don't believe it matters, that is to say I place a hygrometer in the jar with them and burp 'till I reach 55% humidity and that's it, done, needless to say the longer the cure once done the better the smoke.

Ok understand that but when you place in jar for curing what is or about the average humidity reading in the fist 24 hrs of placing the bud in jar ,
