Pullin Weed's just got a gram per watt with 2 or 3 CFL's. If he used cheap nutes, I'm sure he grew it for pretty fucking cheap. Google it:

I think it's very easy to do.
On my last grow, I spent about $100 for Rockwool, nutes and clones. Then factor in another 3 months of electric at $20 a month. Thats up to $160 now.
I got 15 ozs from harvest. $160 divided by 15 ozs comes out to $10.66 an oz cost to me. The only big cost is the first crop. After that, everything is already paid for.

Agreed. As with most hobbies, the start-up cost is the most expensive part.

i wish my grow cost 20 bucks a month to run... i guess its possible with CFLs, but i dont have experience with those except for emercengies and cloning.

then im getting ripped off my my electric company or something. all i have is a 1000 HPS and a vortex inline and a simple oscillating fan and its gotta be at least 60. i havent calced it, but when i had a 400 my bill went up by like 30 bucks.

I can produce 16 ounces with $9 in nutes, $40 in electricity, and $9 dollars on my medium. That comes out to be $3.60/ounce.

EDIT: Sometimes these same costs will yield up to 21 ounces so that makes it even cheaper yet.

its a LOT different if you have the gear. im still factoring in paying most of my gear off, but if you just wanna go straight by the book, its possible. we were talking about our start up costs and things.

4.95/Oz---I grew 10 Oz cured and jarred, and 4gr bubble hash from the trimmings, for 49.50 growing a late season outdoor crop and using a cold frame for cold protection. Good grows do not have to be expensive unless you insist on using much diluted, overpriced, over hyped products and additives so weak they can't even be labeled as fertilizers.

PS: Homebrewer, terrific yield for the dollar.
