oh my goodness! my young lady is having her tips yellowed! i heard of this problem and that it happened to alot of people, and now its happened to me! what do i doooo? here are some pictures my dear friends please help me asses the problem! i am first time grower man.

my grow set up is 2 14watt LED grow panels from sunshine systems and 2 ft T12 fluor tuber.

my soil is some scotts premium potting soil...nothing special. but im about to upgrade! to this stuff soon as a get some money...
http://www.sunnygirlgardens.com/

lights are on from 10am to 5am fluor tube is on when im awake which is about 12pm-5am

i honestly think i over watered it or the pot is too small? its been in there for a few weeks maybe 2 1/2 not sure.... so its roots are outgrowing the pot? by the way im transplanting it into a big 5gallon right now. will take more pics to update.

Burnt tips are one of the 1st visible signs of nute burn and it almost ALWAYS happens with that type of pre nuted soil. They dont look bad though. You should be fine.

so will i be okay in the same soil (scotts) or should i upgrade to better soil? i've repotted it into a big 5gallon bucket only about 1/2 full of soil tho and its only sticking out about an inch now.

Smoke a blunt and relax, ey. You souldn't worry about this. It's typical nute burn from the soil. If that's all the burn you got from the soil, you'll be fine. Only thing, refrain from adding nutes for another week or so and don't buy soil with time release nutes or any added nutes ever again, because, as you can see, you could end up with some nute burn.

here is what has happend to my young wheaties since i first made post-it note here.:finger: they dried up you F*ckers thanks for the advice! now what am i going to do with this shit?

haha young sillys im just yoking! you know pulling chains...

here is real update with pics. listen im mad! and happy at the same time its growing really well in its current conditions vertical growth is at min while horz growth is crazy. haven't watered it in a few days no nutes ever other than the pre nuted soil hehe :)

but my only worry is that this 'nute burn' spreads too quick and dries up the plant the 1st two leaves yellowed up and i tore em off due to not enough light, but when i checked the first fan leaves today the tip was crusty and fell off :( so sad i prayed for it. should i be worried at this rate of burn or am i good 1st grow thanks for your opinions and advice'es

be easy fellas. :)

p.s. there are pics of my other plants too who are getting the same burrrrrrn.

i think everythings fine man it doesnt really look like nute burn yet, ur plants are just really sensitive at this stage, what r ur temps and how close is the light? just give them a few days and dont take off anymore leaves, cut the tips off if anything. try to let them be and let them do their thing

temps no idea not monitoring. pretty avg i'd have to say so in the low 70's high 60's

the light is not causing this i have LEDS.

just watered it tonight so we'll see how pretty and strong she grows.

i also have concern about these teeny tiny little flies flying around.. should i worry bout those little buggers?

Yeah, I don't think heat is your problem here... I do agree that you shouldn't pull any leaves off. If you pull a leaf off, the problem (nute burn, deficiency) moves to the next leaf...

If the burn situation continues and becomes serious, you will have to transplant, but I doubt it will get any worse...

my clone is doing the same thing and my seedlings are cool i keep a half-ass eye on my box though. But for sure dont stress itll be cool just give it time mine shot up 2 1/2 inch and did it its still disscolored but its got new growht and shot up 3 more inches in a week.. They are pretty strong plants and can handle a lot of shit and will bounce back from the dead at leats mine have happy growing
