You really want to make a statement

Bring a tent.

99.9 percent of the people going to the demonstration in Lansing are all going to assemble on the doorsteps of the capital, talk to their friends, bla bla bla... and then go home in a couple hours.

I bet they are so scared lol...

I haven't heard of anyone talking about actually protesting, causing a major disruption and stay there like we really mean it. Lansing needs a protest Egypt style. You got the balls?

Sorry Bro, I got a job I need to attend to. Plus I like being legal for medical reasons, so I've got nothing to protest at this point. My vote passed back in 2008.

Maybe once they shut off our Internet like they did in Egypt, we'll get serious.

If the Government shuts down your Internet... SHUT DOWN YOUR GOVERNMENT!

Mother Fuckers! The problem is no one stops them from stopping you. Well it was their fault that all these little mini rambos are being born. Mark my words mankind is about to snap back and I Do Not mean that as a terrorist threat either, In any way. I simply mean mankind is getting to the point where their pains will be outweighing their fears.

Do you know what FEAR is... FEAR is a chain. FEAR is the name of the chain that will be breaking in my lifetime!

You've got nothing to protest huh? Uninformed much?
Well then do what you said and set up a tent. But regardless of your protest I'm going to use medicinally legal or not. Good luck out there bud, and you better be there! Because I hate it when people suggest we need to band together for a cause and have no intention of doing it themselves.

I hope you enjoyed you're two years of being able to use your medicine with out looking over your shoulder for cops. Because if Bill Shitty gets his way your time of being legal will be coming to an abrupt end.

that's right-

don't count on being one of the ten licenses, skolar.

i've been thinking about this. alot.

due to recent events my opinion has changed. i found my self looking back to when this all was a dream, then a reality, in the voting booth. being involved in cultivation and use before the law, i have to admit, even with a debilitating qualifying condition, i primarily voted yes on the law as a step toward LEGALIZATION.

i'm betting that most did. people are just sick of weed being illegal. knowledge has overcome us and there is no turning back.

i think we're getting too caught up in "medicine". i absolutely believe cannabis to be a very powerful, safe medicine. all the more reason for it to be TOTALLY LEGAL. imagine aspirin suddenly becoming an illegal substance. the mere thought is folly.

this has led me to an epiphany. we certainly cannot afford to let any comprise happen now. this "medical" situation is a double edge sword. the government could easily benefit greatly on all our hard work, through simple loopholes, if we were to allow it to happen.
we need to use the medical law as a maneuver, towards legalization. we need to unite in a big way, to send the message loud and clear. this will not be tolerated.

"i have a job, and am comfortable".

that type of attitude is exactly what has happened to us. while we were lazin around, half wits stole our shit. time to get it back.

a slave goes to work every day.

i have always worked for myself, and am never comfortable unless the work is done.

try and think back to how you felt when you voted yes. was it because you are SO worried about the cancer patient, like the AG says.

or.

was it YAY, we get to grow weed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if the AG has it wrong then you have no choice but to stand and remind HIM.

I will be attending the rally and plan to protest not just talk to my friends, and not just because I only know two people in Michigan since I just moved here as a medical mj refugee :)

I think that it is important for people to make a show of force - each person that attends the rally, or writes a letter, or calls, or emails their legislators represents many people who have not taken any action at all. If we don't stand up for our rights, who will?

Most of the issues with the MI laws today are a result of the lack of legislation put into place when medical passed in 2008. It's great that it passed, but it would have been good if the state set guidelines for each city as a model or base to help them get started instead of the logistical nightmare that we find ourselves in now.

In a dream world, the legislation on the table right now would be to define the laws in ways that would HELP the patients that need the medication, not to persecute people who are attempting to legally grow/obtain their medicine. Personally, I would much rather use medical marijuana than Xanax for my anxiety, and I would rather use medical marijuana for my chronic hip & shoulder pain than naproxen, and I would MUCH rather use medical marijuana to help control my diabetes than some injectable medicine that costs $300 per month.

Regarding the "hit list", I don't feel that it is anyone else's business, especially law enforcement, if I am a legal cardholder using MJ for medical reasons. How about we target the drugs that are killing people, not the ones that make people laugh and love each other? I don't understand why HIPAA laws don't cover medical marijuana to begin with.

As far as the proposed changes to the "established doctor patient relationship" goes, I have diabetes and I only have to go to see my doctor when it's time to get blood drawn to get my A1C levels checked. Should I be forced to go to see my doctor on a more regular basis for my metformin rather than him just calling in refills when I need them? Absolutely ridiculous.

Maybe I'm just a deadhead hippie freak, but that's my opinion.

Why do people act like cops are around every corner? Do the cops know about you? Do you have a felony or are you a criminal? Are you a dealer?

I am not, so I don't believe any cop will be busting down my door anytime soon. Thanks for your concern but I think you're one of the victims of fear mongering. While I do believe that ANYTHING is possible... I won't live my life in fear of being caught smoking marijuana.

They wont until they fly over your house and spot your growlight signature. Then they are coming, legal or not.

Oh really? You mean the grow lights that put off less electricity and heat than my water heater? Not to mention I have 5 computers in my house that generate plenty of heat and electricity. And you do know that indoor growing is legal right? Who says I'm growing marijuana?

Nice try bud. Keep living your life in fear.
