So found a 50w LED that will fit inside a PC case, after my CFLs burnout I am gonna purchase it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/50W-6-Band-...ltDomain_0&hash=item415e82a360#ht_8800wt_1163. I'll probably throw in an extra cfl or two for both stages of growth, 1 plant scrog . Think it will be a noticeable increase in yield/resin production? Think it'll be worth the money? High Times said LED's grow plants just as good if not better than HID. I don't wanna purchase it if it won't be worth it but I am uncontent with the idea of CFL growing and want to move on to the high grade!

save your money bro.. if you want a LED panel go with some known brand like GLH or something that you've seen other people use and worked well for them. there are alot of hacks in the LED scene. also I think PC cases are too small for led panels. i'm no expert but I've read and seen in threads that you have to put the LEDS 10-20 inch from your canopy. you should check out the LED forum, lots of good information there. good luck!

if youre gonna do that, you may as well get a plywood sheet, go to rona, buy strips of red or blue led lights, and use zipties to hold em up. use the right amount of red vs blue lights for whichever light cycle you are in. ive heard this actually works surprisingly well.
