Running a 400 watter cool tube. Have a Soler td-125 intake fan. Temps are still high but I'm sure it's due to the ductwork which will be worked on tmw. I need to move my tent 3.5x1.5x5 to my bedroom closet for stealth reasons.

I was bummed until I realized there is an ac vent inside. I removed the grill. Can I use this air as intake or should I connect my exhaust duct there? If just connecting my exhaust duct what do i need?

I've been going back and forth to the hardware store and I want to get everything I need. How can I.....uh damn im stoned i dont know what i was going to say, completely lost right now...my bad. But please help with what I need help with.

Do not, repeat, do not, use the HVAC register for anything. You don't want to blow fresh MJ odors throughout your entire living space. Let the vent be. It can provide cooler air for you to intake into the tent through a passive vent. If you run the A 24/7, you could duct the register to your tent's intake, otherwise, I'd say no.

just keep the closet door shut so AC stays near tent. You'll need an exhaust fan set up to exhale air from the tent, and you just leave open a lower intake vent, preferably in back of tent towards closet back wall. Just make sure air can get to it. The cool air from the closet will be drawn into the tent as warmer air is exhaused out. You will need to figure out how to duct/exhaust warm air from closet.

I can't get my temps under 92 with ambient 78-80 and I've tried all different configurations. I'll be satisfied if I can get the tent to 85.

I have one more configuration to try but it's such a pain disassembling everything so I want opinions before I do.

outside duct--->137cfm inline--->cool tube---->197cfm inline---->outside

I will use the ac vent to vent out the warm air. I saw another person on the forum venting through the ac with the same tent and ambient temps as me and his cab tent is 80-85 with lights on which is what I'm aiming for. So what do you think? Is it a waste of time or might work? Any other suggestions?
