you read sumtin and want to respond to it an its as old as you are
do you ever clean them up sycle themselves out or anything

old threads still contain a lot of important information, if your willing to read through them. deleting them would defeat one of the main purposes of the forum.

It would be nice if threads could get archived and "locked" (no new posts).

That way noobs don't respond to and bump five year old threads thinking they're actually helping the guy that started the thread five years ago and shit lol.



While we are wishing.....can the moderators get the ability to throw out IP bans so they could finally take care of the damned spammers?

Admin reserves that ability to itselves.

As for old threads, I admit i lol when I see some one-or two-post noob kick an undead thread into a few extra shambles and lurches. Fortunately it's the exception and not the rule. And we don't really have any grounds to arbitrarily shut old threads. Fwiw. cn
