Yields and consumption

I am new to the world of concentrates, haven't made a batch yet but have plans for this weekend. I have some questions on usage, yields and consumption.

I typically smoke an ounce of bud a month. If I were to run an open batch of 1 oz of bud and got an average yield of let's say 4-5 grams of wax. How long would that last me? I am typically an after work smoker 5 - 12 pm and I smoke 2-3 joints a night.

I have done dabs and typically only require a small pin head amount, I guess my question is by making wax am I going to get the same longevity.

I know it depends on how big of a hit I do, and how often I have to take a hit, but as ageneral roll of thumb, would someone that smokes the amount I do get better or worse yield using concentrates over rolled joints?

You will build a tolerance to the dabs as well..
you will start out with a few Id guess and probably be around 4-6 dabs+ after awhile at night. Id guess and say you could dab threw that in a cpl wks time

I think the biggest deciding factor for me would be, smoking plant material is unhealthy. I would just dab exclusively.

Just have some fun and experiment. Save your analysis until you have more data.
