You are right there, I apologise, I very rarely think about water temp these days. I grow in coco and let my water each room temp by leaving it 24 hours, only ever did a few DWC and NFT systems. But yes it is very important in any hydro system. Probably to a lesser degree in soil or soilless too.
Nice! I don't want to thread jack @Nugachino thread but I'm going to grow in Coco too. I might have a few questions down the road, if that's alright? Back to the cabs and yields and dank and stuff!

...sorry for the over enthusiasm. The tutey fruity is kicking in.

Nah mate. No problem about asking a question or two. I might learn something from the responses. And yeah. Temps aren't all that valid for soil, as far as I can tell. Which is what I'm growing in.

DWC on the other hand... There's a lot more to keep an eye on. And can turn very quickly from happy plant. To dead plant. I won't be touching this setup anytime soon. Not until I'm confident with soil.

Thanks for the help peeps

So my plants seem to be somewhat OK. The one inside has spotty yellowed leaves. But only in its lower leaves. No signs of progress. New growth looks fine.

I think the one outside is hungry. Growth is lighter green than before. And is starting to point upwards. I'll give a light feeding of compost runoff. And a glass or two of water.

Cheers man. I think the indoor one is Indica. And the other is Sativa.

I also tweaked the light settings so that the blue light dominated. There's still about 25% red.

20161023_171236.jpg 20161023_202542.jpg here's the most recent pics 23 Oct 2016.

Some of the top leaves got damaged. Accidentally sliced a few with my finger nails.

Don't know if it's the camera. Or if it's actually needing something. Also added a side pic for your viewing pleasure.

Or just point out anything I'm missing.
Oh and I put a cm of perlite in the bucket.

I'm also thinking about fimming soon. Is it about ready for that?

So. After taking into consideration the input given on here. And spending a good hour watching various people explain fim and top methods.

I decided that fimming was more logical. Because it's only one cut. And it has the potential to become more than just two main branches.

I'm not really fussed if I have to wait another 3 weeks before the switch to 12-12. The aim was to increase the number of bud sites. And hopefully level out the canopy. Rather than have just one fat cola. With a splattering of popcorn bud.
