Hey guys, recently started my first indoor grow with a proper tent and lighting after using a closet and CFL for years. Yesterday my power flickered off for about 2 seconds and came back on, all of my fans came back on, but the light did not. Though it may need to cool off for a bit so I unplugged the light for about 1 hour, changed the fuse in the ballast, plugged it back in, nothing. Swapped in a new bulb and still nothing. Had to go to work at this point so I put the plants under some backup lighting for the night. Got home and swapped bulbs again, nothing. Noticed the cooling fans are not turning on in the ballast. Had anybody else had similar issues with this ballast? Or possible suggestions to fix it so I don't have to wait for a replacement and can get the girls under good lighting again?

Check the fuse. Do you have it plugged into a surge protector?

I've run Digital Greenhouse 600's for at least 10 years now & the two year old one finally failed. Fuse change = zero results & HTG warrantied it. I have now been through 5 new ones they keep sending & I can't keep one lit for more than 2 days.
I've got a good suppressor & timer that they both run through & even though I knew better I swapped the hoods/lamps they were running & still the new one blows.

I'm beyond a little pissed so I also ordered a complete unit (reflector, bulb etc...) from Amazon for backup.

Fingers crossed as the babies are stretching more than I like because of this. :fire:
