yield from this system?

anything is possible, i guess. i really think your getting ahead of yourself talking yeilds right now. build your system, perfect your enviorment and take what you get and improve on that. talking 3-4 GPW before you even start the grow is just setting yourself up for dissapointment. spend some cash, get your enviormental controls under wraps. get your rez/nutrient solution dialed in and keep chugging away at perfection.

im not trying to shit in your cherios, just saying that your 5 steps ahead of yourself, and while it never hurts to be prepared theres many other factors you need to consider besides how many GPW your gonna get. you can have 20k watts but if there is flaws in your enviorment or system, genetics then all the light in the world wont get you the results you desire.

I have no delusions about my yields. I'm asking for a setup that a professional could get that GPW with. I know I'm years away from getting yields that someone like Heath would get.

fucking ridculous...5k for that ''system'' i could build the exact same system for 500 bucks, 800 TOPS
Wanna help me design a system like that, but HPA instead of NFT?

No one has mentioned that 600w (when compared to 400 and 1k hps) is the most efficient setup. For lumens and par per watt 600 beats 1k and 400 quite soundly. This is why a lot of efficiency minded top growers use 600w lights.

Three 600 watts put you closer to 1800 watts and produce more light than two 1k lights, but may not fit your application.

You really need to figure out if you want max yield or max efficiency. Next step is to get 1gpw. It's not as easy as it sounds.

I would gladly take a look into some of what your trying to do a lend my word and advice, i dont consider myself an expert by any means, but i have set up rooms before, large scale and have built elaborate systems like these and other stadium grows. Usually something like taking a 8 by 8 room and putting shelves in there with the plants set up stadium style NFT with the 360 sprayers, im sure an ebb and flow would work sufficiently as well. give me a PM if your interested in my 2 cents, i would behappy to give it my friend

ps. I also agree with karr about the 600w setup. I usually use 2 or 3 600 as opposed to 2 or 3 1000s, just because of effiecency. and i can usually pull the same with 6s as i can with 1000s. maybe if it was many more 1ks then it would make a diff....good luck friend

Ya gotta keep in mind that most people are not handypersons. What may seem simple and easy to do for you or me and a few gifted others but most of them have to have every detail explained and even still can't do electrical, plumbing, res tests and the list is endless or so it seems. I build houses for a living. My op is put together other than the lights and a few other small things from the local landfill. The best score I've gotton in a while is a 3kw industrial timer.
