Yeti OG

Well this was my second plant from the seed. I have the temps much lower, and I starved he for the last couple weeks (flush) but I dont hink she liked it. The buds look quite a bit smaller but also much denser.

The drop in temps / flush made this thing a very pretty girl.

Check out the beautiful yeti og.

Doing some trimming and this shit is ridiculous! Stinks of the strongest og. Not too mention the strongest flavor and buzz of anything I have ever seen.

This shit is pretty unbelievable. There is a frost advisory in michigan today and some have reported seeing yeti covered in frost.

Sorry pics are with my ipod touch and I cant capture on camera what Im seeing in person.

i just woke up and had to check these pics out again. good job, they are uber frosty. bet it would test very high! those legitimately "Look like theyve been rolled in glass"~!

I've heard people say that about their meds before but i think it actually applies in this situation :bigjoint:

Just a question: is it an accepted rule that the best OGs are small yielders at best? All these pics look like popcorn - SUPERB popcorn, but.....just wondering. I've no real experience with the elite OGs, but am about 6 weeks away from some first hand Goji experience, so be kind. :)

Not a dumb question at all. Yes, og are small yielding plant's. With topping and lst you can be surprised at how those popcorn nugs add up.

I've grown big yielding plants but always tossed them. Being a grow for myself, prefer quality over quantity.

Id rather have a jar full of the dankest og buds than 5 jars of mediocre buds.

I have a face off og cut that I can get to produce 10 gram tops dried.if you top and train her for 6 to 10 tops she can be very rewarding. My last run of the yeti was during the summer. The buds were much bigger but in sheer potency this one is going to be hard to beat.

????? really?

“We popped them,” says Bubba, “and started calling the strain Kush. None of us knew that a real strain called Kush already existed. In fact, I didn’t know there was a strain called Hindu Kush until a few years ago. We smoked ‘the nectar,’ ‘krippy’ or ‘the kind.’ We rarely knew what strain we were smoking. If we had all the information that’s accessible now, we would have definitely called it something different. We actually named it Kush because of a friend’s older brother, who said it looked like kush-berries -- whatever the hell those are.”

he does know that people have been growing hindu kush since atleast invasion times? and to say he just magically came up with THAT name?? i have some serious doubts. add b-real to the equation (paid by hightimes to do whatever they say) it feels like im being bullshitted....

the OG and the bubba came from the same people if this story is true, good read either way

That's just a marketing thing. Dispensaries are full of shit, and they were promoting that months ago in magazines here in town. "We've got the guy who accidentally created Bubba Kush out of his ass" Who gives a fuck either way? It takes talent now to herm a plant? Even if his story is true, the only takeaway is that he was extremely lucky. Or maybe this guy is the reason everyone would rather have either the pre-98 bubba or the katsu cut. Bodhi (who I believe more than this guy) refers to his Original Bubba cut as being pre-92, and I think the pre-98 was what was after that.

Hey KGP, sitting on a pack of yeti og f3s. Tried a nug and you're correct the taste and smell is 2nd to none, best tasting OG I've tried. A strong 9.5 out of 10 taste and smell. The potency would would be at a solid 9 out of 10. Soon to chop down Face Off and see how it compares after a 2 week cure.

Congrats! Lucky you. On a unrelated topic or sorta. I would like to give advice to whoever cares to listen. Always, always have a buddy to hold something special.

You can think it will never happen to you, but it can. I made a rookie mistake shortly after making this thread. I got a cut of white fire from a friend of a friend. Something happend shortly after. My plants became sick, the leaves started falling, they lost all vigor. I also got pm. I'm not sure if the pm made the problem or what. I'm not one to ask for help, it went into my flower room too. I could have tried to save something but I didn't feel up to the battle. I lost everything.

Fortunatly i I had a buddy who I trusted a few cuts with. After trashing everything, I sterilized my rooms with bleach several times. I now use a product called green cure while in veg. I'm off to a good start with a new favorite. A legit cut of sfv.

My yeti lived a short life. Why didn't I give my buddy a cut? Because I was selfish and human. Moral of the story, if you have something great, share it, there might be a time you need it back. I'm still not sure what happend. I've been doing this a while and have battled everything from aphids to spidermites, but never a complete plague. Maybe it's karma for all the peeps I told no.

good luck on those yeti beans... Although, you won't need much luck. Maybe just good karma.

peace!
