yellowing of leaves bottom up

So both my plants are growing great. About a week ago I noticed the leaves were starting to turn yellow with a couple brown spots here and there. Didnt worry much about it as I thought it was just a sign that they need some nutes. Well I fed them some N Monday morning and it seemed to slow down the yellowing. I applied another dose yesterday morning and it still doesn't seem to be slowing down the yellowing. I know I'm not overwatering and I don't think its nutrient burn. Yellowing leaves means lack of N I thought. They're growing outdoors in organic soil. They are in 4.5 inch square pots until I transplant them to the ground. Any help is appreciated as I've searched endless pages on the internet looking for a solution. They are getting plenty of sunlight. I also let the water that I put the nutes in and water them with sit out over night to let the chlorine evaporate from them.

They look like they could use some magnesium, try hitting them with a shot of Epsom salts, 1tsp per gl. that should green them up....good luck
P.S. every try Maxsea?.......

Jordyy, be patient. You will not be able to change the old leaves color. You will wait for new growth to be green.
That's the thing the new growth is green but it seems like the yellowing of leaves is working its way up the plant as it grows. It used to just be the first set of leaves

Then listen to MR. DoubleJJ. He knows. No epsom salt is different than cleaning your bong. It has magnesium.

Just to make sure If I water them with that tomorrow morning. IF it is a light case of nute burn because a couple of the tips look lightly burnt, will that make the burn worse since I'm feeding them more? The strains BTW are nirvana northern lights auto and samsara sweet black angel

Like stated above old yellow leaves will not turn back green, just wait for the new growth. And your tips are burning which means you fed them too much.

Well my friend told me to flush them last night so I did now. I don't understand though why they are still turning yellow even after I apply nutes. I feel like I don't know the problem. I'm not expecting yellow leaves to turn green but I want to see the yellowing of leaves stop.

I would wait for new growth to see if it is green, but overnuting plants that small couldve stressed them into nute lockout but i dont know i almost never feed plants that size as the soil should still have nutrients in it.

What type of nutes? Maybe your ph is off or nute solution is too light. Or maybe to heavy and as kmog suggested is locking out nutes. Alot of variables. How much nutes did you mix per gallon?

Just got off the phone with Dyna gro, they said probably a magnesium deficiency like JJ said. 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of pro-tekt, foliage pro and kln

1/2 teaspoon is a little much pro-tekt for a seedling. I start with pro-tekt and all nutes at 1/4 strength. Then 1/2 strength next time. And then full strength after that. also when mixing in watering container make sure you add the pro-tekt to the water and stir it up before adding any other nutes. It can lock out P if not mixed correctly. The website even says ALWAYS mix pro-tekt first. Just a reminder.

Yes thank you I did mix the pro-tekt in first as the bottle says.

regular ol drug store Epsom salts will work.......that's what I use
Quick question for you, are you familiar with Dyna gro mag pro? They said to start them on that instead of Epsom salt? Just trying to get opinions. Thank you for the help

I'm not familiar with mag pro, I'm sure it's a good product. Use it if you have it. If you have some Epsom salts you might give it a try, it should work. Good luck, give them a shot, they will be fine..

Thank you for the help. One more question for you. I think I'm going to try mag pro because I do have some. I just flushed them because I think I did burn them a little with the other nutes I put in them. Should I give them a shot now or wait a couple days? I don't wanna kill them or burn them anymore but I also don't want there condition to spread anymore either
