Are your fan leaves already yellow? I'm guessing N deficiency

I keep having a similar problem growing in soil: i just can't keep my leaves green. The sugar leaves are barely staying green. 400w. In veg I use General Organics Grow formula +CaMg, in bloom I use General Organics Bloom nutes +CaMg. Because of yellowing during bloom I have now been adding their Grow (veg) nutes during flowering because it is highter in N. Following the instructions of "Heavy Feeding" of Bloom and Grow nutes, and "Light Feeding" of +CaMg brings the ppm to near exactly 1000ppm (i use reverse osmosis water). About week 4 into bloom the fan leaves start to turn yellow, then by week 7 the entire plant, other then sugar leaves, are yellow (and not crispy like from burn), and drying out. I cut once the sugar leaves start turning yellow as well.

I aim for water pH of 6.0 and water about every 3 days (when dry at least 2 inches down and pot is noticably light).

People keep saying "less nutes is better" but all it seems to do is put the plant into a state it can't recover from, no matter how fast you act when N deficiency signs emerge... at least not with these nutes.

I know my nutes aren't the greatest, but this shouldn't be happening. So, I am also interested in what nutes FIX a N deficiency...? If someone has actually recovered from yellowing, your insight would be appreciated :)

This is just what I myself do so take it with a pinch of salt.

Don't switch to bloom nutes with 12/12. Wait until maybe week two or three of flower. Then start on the bloom nutes with a little grow still, then finally week 3-4-5 (strain dependent) make the cut over to pure bloom nutes.

Having your plants N starved for the last couple of weeks really helps with the flavour and the extra N at the beginning of flower helps them branch out and create the lovely high yielding plant structure.

Also your feeding organics at ph 6 you need to be up at 6.5 minimum to keep your microherd in good condition :) Hense your yellowing issues that dont go away.

Your not deficient your just not quite doing it right IMO :)

Fire back any questions and bear in mind this is just the opinion of a stoner who likes to grow good pot :)
