Yellowing leaves mid-plant

I've noticed that more and more of the fan leaves in the middle section of my plant are going yellow. I know this should be normal at the lower portion, but it seems strange. I have been trimming them off after a few days of being yellow, but as more and more turn color I'm thinking this may be a bad idea. I am feeding every 2 or 3 days with full nutes, I'm almost 5 weeks into flowering.
Also, this is my first grow, and I'm noticing a different kind of bud growth. In my opinion, the new growth resembles seed pockets. This may be normal, as bud is typically more dense, but I wanted a second opinion. One of these growths had a white detail to it, so I tried to pry it open thinking maybe an immature seed lied within, but no cigar.

I circled the problem areas because the lighting makes it hard to see, let me know what you think, thanks!

I am a noob but I thought I would add my two cents. Yellowing in the areas you have circled at 5 weeks flowering doesnt sound like anything I would worry about. As for the first image, it looks like its been pollinated to me. In my experience when those white hairs start looking deformed or almost like they are dying its a sign you have successfully pollinated. Sorry if I am wrong, this is all speculation....

SULFER (S) - Plants suffering from S deficiencies exhibit yellowing of new growth. Mix one tablespoon of Epsom salts per gallon of water until condition improves.

NITROGEN (N) -Pale plants, red stems, smaller growth. Rapid yellowing of lower leaves progressing up the plant. Add any chemical fertilizer containing N. Treated plants recover in about a week.

MAGNESIUM (Mg) - Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward.

Also - keep in mind that yellowing is also due to:

OVER FERTILIZATION Causes leaf tips to appear yellow or burnt. To correct soil should be flushed with three gallons of water per one gallon of soil.So what you need to do to be sure is to invest in an EC meter so that you know for sure if your over fert-ing your plants or if their are deficiencies. Don't guess otherwise you will cause more problems.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input! So can anyone verify that chosen is right about the pollination? This plant was a hermie actually, but I sought and destroyed all of the sacks I could find early hopingto eliminate pollination. Is the plant trash in that case, or it will just be seedy?

It will be seedy.... Rather or not it is trash is up to you. Personally I would not take any chances. If your going to take a chance MAKE SURE ALL OF THE SACKS HAVE INDEED BEEN DESTROYED.

First off I would back off your nutes and check to see what happens. More times than not it turns out to be the biggest problems especially for the new growers. Second a hermie is nothing to f... around with. Two times I thought I had a hermie controlled and bam seeds everywhere. It is best to pull it and happy that you got a great seedless and more potent smoke,Than something filled with seeds and just so-so high. Just my two cents. Good luck!

Well, this is my first grow, and it's my only plant, so I don't have the risk of pollinating any other plants. I mean in all honesty, most commercial is seeded, and most of that is okay I guess, I mean, I spent most of my teenage years smoking seeded kill, so is this just going to be some regular then basically? Also, after looking closer, it looks like the front is pollinated and the rear and top is not, is this common?
Also, also ,lol, will it do any good to snag the seed pods off of the buds as they grow, or will that just stress the plant out and piss it off?

kitty,

ive got a lil lady going an shes in her 2nd week of flowering shes on G.H. maxibloom an pure blend pro bloom im thinking im not using enough cuz the bottom two set of leafs are falling off i know it hydrogen but i dont wana make my ppm over 2000 mines around 1700 is it ok to go pass 2000 if it looks like not enough??

You may be loosing leaves due to the plant using up everything in the leaves and dropping them its very common during flowing in some strains. Yes, it is ok to increase the ppm between 2000-3500 - monitor your plants closely. Anything 4500-5000 will kill your plants.
