Ok. So Im two weeks into growing and Ive noticed the end of the leaves turned yellow. Most of the leaf is nice and green until it reaches the tips. I haven't started nutrients yet cause its too early and I haven't been under watering, so I have no idea what it is. Please help

put up a fight before u pull the plug,
what ph is the water?
what light are u using and what hour cycle?
how often did u water because the soil looks very dry!
what soil are u using and does it contain nutes? such as miracle grow
what is the rh and temps?

I just watered it and have been about every other day, trying not to over water it. Ph of the water is 6.5-7. 3 CFL's 23w, 18/6. Temp's 75. And yeah. I I know miracle gro isn't the best but I had no other choice right now, so that's what it's in. Do you think i need to water it more?

Alright. I watered it earlier today and watered it some more just now to make sure soil wasn't too dry and see if that was the problem. I mean, after checking on it just now since this morning, the leaves are looking bigger and a little greener, but maybe that's just me being optimistic. I mean, the new growth leaves look alright, so idk. Here's pic's from just now after rewatering

water every 4 days but the best way of telling is put ur finger into the soil upto ur knuckle and if its moist its fine. its always best to keep the soil on the dryer side so the roots grow and find more water. the problem seems to be the soil slowly realising the nutes and burning the little girl. the only thing i would do is try repot or flush with plenty of ph'd water and try getting the nutes out. ive never grown in miracle grow but u will need a experienced grower what will have better method bro!

Miracle Grow soil could cause a nutrient burn, my first plant had its first set of leaves completely burnt before the second set had even started to show and turned out alright it should be fine, just dont let the soil get completely dry, as miracle grow soil releases the nutrients after it has dried and re-watered again

Yeah I kinda had an idea it was the miracle grow. Thanks. Hopefully it'll turn out well after this.

And yeah I was doing the knuckle test and seemed moist underneath, just the top was dry. Alright. Thanks a lot for the help

The more you water he more nutes you release. You need to only water when needed. Seedlings in 16oz dixies on average only need to be watered every 3 or 4 days.

its ok if the first set of leaves wilt away, its usually going to happen eventually. it looks like it will make it, the MG probly burnt it a little. Good luck with the grow!!

Thanks. Ill keep everyone up to date on it.. its looking better now. And the new growth leaves are nice big and green so hopefully Im in the clear for now

Its looking pretty good actually from what it was, however it's growing extremely slow from comparing it to others. So I'm actually about to head out to buy some higher watt cfl's. Thinking about buying a HPS light and setting that up instead or along with my cfl's. Although Ill have to read up more on the set up and what not for HPS.

but here she is 2 days later. Sorry the pictures are kinda bright, forgot to turn off the flash
