Yellow spots!

i started getting these yellow spots on my plant. Someone said they could be from not enough nitrogen in the soil but I'm not sure. If it is the case how do I fix it.

Its fine. That plant doesnt even need food yet.

They seem to be getting bigger.. Is that usually normal

Now my stem is almost completely brown.. This can't be good ??
