Yellow spots mean almost ready for harvest or something else?

Hi guys my names Greg, I'm a first time autoflower grower and wanted to see some expert opinions on what these yellow dots could be and if somebody could give me a rough estimate of when I should start flushing. I'm on week 7 today and the strain is critical cheese. Here's some pics:

Too high or too low a pH can lock up nutrients in the form of undisolvable salts and compounds, some of which are actually toxic to the plants. What then happens is the grower then tries to supplement the plants diet by adding more fertilizers, throwing off the pH even more and locking up even more nutrients. This type of problem is seen more often in soil mixes, where inconsistent mixing of the medium's components leads to "hot" spots.



Any change in the PH? (be honest)

when the fans really start to yellow start flushing
its fine its just showing a bit of color maybe calmag but it takes time to straighten that out so i wouldnt worry about it
pretty plant but id give it 3 more weeks from the looks of it

I think it is the ph it's at 7.0... I'm going to drop it to about 6.3. Tek do you think I should wait to sart flushing until the leave turn a little yellower? Or should i start now?

for sure, that much of a ph change is gonna cause that type of damage.

Dont seem like much, but cant do it that quick it has to be done gradually. You cant "think when it comes to your PH" unless your an experienced grower that knows water like tek

Hey do you spray your plants?

If you mean do i spray the plant itself, I do sometimes, but not very often maybe once a week.. Should I do that more often, like everyday? Also I made sure my water jugs are all at 6.3-6.4 ph level. Will it affect the plants at all from being at 7.0 as in the bud growth and yield? And should I wait to flush it?

Well i sprayed once when i first growing while my HID was on (dumb idea) later learned that when you spray those droplets can act as magnifying glasses and burn small holes in the plants or scorch them

Whens the last time you sprayed?

I like to try to troubleshoot different stuff be patient

just when the fans start yellowing hard from center vein out is when i give them a gal or so extra run off
then a week after i run a few gals through it and let it dry up and start with molasses then just water then let it dry to a very light pot and harvest
i also run high drainage mostly soiless medium so my pots dry up in 1 day sometimes 1/2 a day in flower
so you would have to adjust accordingly

Thats why i always say things that others wont think of I'd rather trouble shoot then take 1 guess

Last time I sprayed it was about 4 days ago, I also have a weird theory about what else could be causing it.. Do you know those windshield things for cars that keep the heat out? I put one of those in the grow room about a week ago to reflect the light (btw I'm using a 400w hps) and it has like little circle reflectors on it and is right by the plants... Ever since I put that in there it started to show the spots. Do you think that could be whats doing it? Lol might of been a dumb idea. I just felt like the bottom of the plants werent getting enough light.

Only if it could focus the light intense enough to burn through the leaves which you would probably smell and the plant might of caught fire. Its different if the light goes through the droplets and about 4 days ago yeah most likely spraying did it.

Yeah I don't think it focuses the light that much. I appreciate your help Jeff, I will stop spraying them and see if the spots stop appearing and will let you guys know. Also thanks for the advise tek I will flush in the morning. You guys are awesome.

If your gonna spray, spray at lights out time. Heat from the lights dry the spray up quicker and the plant dont absorb as much that way.

OK I will defenitely do that next time.
