Auto WW. So this plant has been gradually getting yellow over the last few weeks. FFOF soil, only have been able to feed it once with 4mls ( less than 1 tea spoon, bottle recommends 2-3 teaspoons) tiger bloom in 1 gallon of water (I do not feed it the whole gallon) last week. PH is fine at 6.39. I use tap water with 160-180ppm already in it. PPMs when I feed with tiger bloom it's 480 (that is with the additional 160-180 from the tap water). Light is 205w Optic 2 at 20". When I did feed it the one time last week with the tiger bloom, some of her tips singed a tad, so I don't think shes hungry for N and that was only N-2.

Its been getting worse, it started from the top and seemed to have worked its way down. I had an over watering issue that I corrected, than I had aphids, sprayed with pyrethrin have not seen any since. This plant never really had any aphids, maybe 2 or 3, it was mainly a different plant which is doing great. It is not N issue as I have not given any, besides whats in tiger bloom once which is 2-8-4. It is not cal or mag as I have never needed it before with this tap water, and all others are doing just fine with the tap water. It is not the light, all other plants are doing just fine and much deeper green than this one. I just think after all the stress she went through, she just does not have anymore give to push through flower at this point. She will be in week 6 tomorrow so 3-4 weeks at least left. I don't know if she is gonna be able to limp pass the finish line.

I have no experience with ffof, just know it's hot to start with...so i can't say if you need magnesium or if its locked out. locked out, in my opinion, because of too much P or K..both toxicities resemble each other to an extent..if i had to lean, especially because of your feed you gave..it's too much P. I say that because as you see, the leaves get exceptionally thinner blades the higher you go..more than what appears should be normal..that comes from too much p or k, and they both will lock out magnesium in excess. Being that potassium is her favorite food and should be given in highest amounts, i'd say it's too much P, and possibly not enough magnesium.

I have only fed it once and it was already starting to go yellow before that. I doubt it is the soil at this stage in the game. To be honest ever since I corrected the over watering issue, that is when it seemed to start yellowing faster.

I don't have any calmag as I never needed it before. Also I cannot water it as I already did this morning with plain ph'd water. If I attempt to add anymore than 2-3 cups of water, she will instantly go limp and be over watered, and that goes with ALL the plants. They are very sensitive to over watering. 2-3 cups and that is it, and that even lasts 3-4 days.

There is a good chance the over watering killed some roots, perhaps root rot and it just isn't able to uptake that much nutes anymore to sustain it. That would be my guess, but I dunno. It is a guessing game with this crap.

At this stage..you're better off with epsom salt as oppose to cal mag..plant needs the sulfur more right now and your tap water you say has the cal in it. I never needed cal mag either..i use only epsom in flowering if needed. Do you have pics of the plant say from a few days ago and a week ago to see how it progressed? This last pic too shows zinc and possibly iron lacking along with the mag...i would agree, it's likely not because they are not there, so then one has to ask..why are they not available? Either ph..generally because it's too high..you're in ffof..ideal ph should be between 5.8-6.3..its sphagnum peat moss afterall, or because of an excess of another element. Again points to too much P or K, both will lock out the deficient elements that appear to be lacking. A small combination of both is possible as well since you are running on the higher end of ph at 6.4 and a hot soil to begin with.
Edit:...Yes, overwatering will also cause you issues! C&P...

How often do you water and how much? What size pots? temp/humidity?

The plant is in the exact same spot (top right), this is the only plant I have not moved from its location because it has been doing well there.

Every 3-4 days usually 4. 2-3 cups of water, 3 gallon pots. I cannot add too much water, or they all go into fucking lock down mode and go over watered so fast. Tent ranges from 77-80. Humidity steady at 50-55.

Did you happen to water on the 14th or 15th? They took quite a turn in that one day. You could see the spindly growth coming..but then on the 15th..you can see it affected not just the one in the back right. There is some evidence on two of them of a bit too much nitrogen, and i know ive seen many having issues like that in ffof, but that's not what's causing the drooping and spindly growth.

I over watered on 13th by the 15th they were in the middle of being very very over watered so ya I over watered ALL of them big time. They were drying out at that point for 2-3 days. Took me a week to sort that out, than they immediately got aphids because I put them outside to dry up a bit and the little fuckers hopped on. well one plant did really, the best one actually and still is. I eradicated it, sprayed them all, took some leaves off of the plant that had it. This plant and another 2 had very little aphids activity. I have not seen any since, and I check very thoroughly daily. Fox Farm has never burned or caused anything. I know I say I am "new" BUT I have grown in the past and I always used FFOF. Never an issue. Always used it veg, than added some bloom nutes at flowering and no issues.

I understand that..the pots do look a bit too big for the plants..they look bigger than 3 gallons. Nonetheless, it seems they are not taking well to the watering..some drooping is ok, but when it hangs like that and especially that stringy/twisted top growth, it's generally an issue with higher ph and/or too much p or k..or calcium, but i would doubt that's your issue if you dont use cal-mag and tap water is as you say.

Nope pots are 3G smart pots. Cannot be PH because I am OCD and check twice with drops and electric meter. always comes to 6-6.4. I like to let it fluctuate between 6-6.4. I water all of them with the same water I ph'd so they all would show some PH issues if that was the case. I appreciate you trying to Tarantino this with me lol. I am not sure if I add anything at all now will it even uptake it? I'd guess no. It is taking water up though as you can see she is happy, just yellowish. I thought maybe the light was too close, but all the others don't seem to have an issue with the light at all, I do not think its too much light. They aren't showing any signs of too much light.

No, im sure its not aphids causing your issue. It seems the pots are not drying out fast enough/plant isn't drinking as it should. if it took 2 days for that to happen after watering..then either your watering isn't getting to the roots (2-3 cups isnt much for 3 gallon container) for long enough, or the medium is lacking oxygen...enough dry periods. You're in fabric pots..humidity is ok, a fan, 2-3 cups of water every 4 days in flowering...to me it appears the medium is staying too wet/damp for too long.

Definitely is staying too wet, and I have always had this stupid problem of the soil staying wet for long periods. To clarify, when I over watered on the 13th I was giving it half gallon each. The droop happened almost immediately and did not subside at all until the 17th. It took 12-17th to recover from all that water.

I've had plants in the past as well that when i had a bit too much N in flower..she wouldn't drink...it was a pain in the ass..huge plant and refused to drink. i had others that were all in the same pot but some stayed too small (autos) and so the pot was too big for it and they looked just like that..usually watering was a good time, but when i watered those, they looked just like yours..drooping at the top..no life..but i didnt know what to do either, i never fed it, just watering. Can you judge by weight when you water..are the pots light as they should be?

I only water now by weight, I learned my lesson with the whole 1-2" garbage. I let it get super light. I fed this one Friday morning with tiger bloom, and she didn't need water until today. I fed her maybe 3 cups friday. I lifted the the pot this morning and was actually surprised how light it was. So I gave her 3 cups today, straigh PH'd water. The nutes I gave friday burned the tips, even though it was SUPER light.

You cant overwater in one session...overwatering comes from watering too often..not too much in one instance. To me..those plants in the right conditions, should take, at this point in their cycle and with your lights, 2.5L of water every 4th day, max 5. However, if the pot doesn't dry out well enough, you can't keep putting water in..it will do more harm than good. Roots can't be kept in a wet environment without oxygen for too long!

Ya..i gave up on that 1-2 inch thing fast as well. If its a hot dry summer day..the top inch will be dry in no time lol. I only go by weight since! no more drooping like i used to have! especially my auto's..they would droop so much beofre lights out every night..i was told when istarted that it's normal..but to me it didnt look normal lol. It wasn't as it hasn't happened since! lol
