So, this is my first grow... I germinated a seed, and transplanted it into a decent sized pot, have the light set up, everything was going great for about a day. Then the first two textured leaves it started growing wilted, and are now turning yellow. I think what happened was chemical burn, because I found out that my friend had accidentally dripped some nutrients onto the two leaves. Since that happened, the two leaves that got touched by it wilted and are yellow now... I thought that the plant was going to die, but now today I see new growth coming up from the middle of the two leaves. What I want to know is if it would be beneficial to cut off the two leaves that are yellow, so that the new ones can grow better.... Or would that hurt the plant, since it's pretty much still a seedling? I've had gardens (Not Mary Jane) before, and I know that pruning dead leaves will help keep the plant alive... Does the same apply here?
