Yellow dots and brown deformed top leafs?

Hey there,

First grow from bag seed, and I've run into a problem!

Growing under 400w HPS in a 3'x4'x6' room with white walls.

Water w/ fertilizer (10-54-10) every other day when the soil is fully dry.

I feel like the bud formation is moving abnormally slow, but I am unsure...

Was in veg for 4 weeks - now on 2 weeks 2 days (16 days) of flowering with preflowers and small buds starting to form, though they look a bit small for this stage...

Everything has been looking pretty good until the last few days when the bottom big fan leaves dried up and yellowed (I took them off today) and the new forming leaves at the top of the plant are slightly deformed and/or yellow/brown.

Is this nute burn? I saw the beginning of nute burn when I was in veg (browinging tips of fan leaves) and stepped back a but with nutes, but then everything seemed to be going well until now.

I was looking at deficiency pictures on google and it looks damn close to this photo of a boron deficiency... http://www.420magazine.com/gallery/data/500/1134turkish_boron154.jpg

Now later today the leaves on the top looked even worse - tons and tons of tiny yellow dots are spreading out over the first couple node leaf sets. (looked at spider mite photos and don't think that's the issue)

Any ideas guys?

Attaching some photos from yesterday - things only got worse today and I'm expecting the same tomorrow. - I'll throw up more photos tomorrow.

Also I'm in a 3 gallon pot.

Planning to flush with 5 or so gallons of pure water tomorrow. (never fully flushed before)

Flush with 9 gallons of pure water. Three gallons per gallon of soil.

Also, this looks more like lockout because of a nutrient excess. You're using some heavy-duty stuff in flowering, there.

flushing is your best bet. you say that you water every other day with nutes. this means your soil is probably drying out too quickly which can quickly lead to salt build up from the ferts especially that u r feeding with every water. i would only feed every other water and get your temps down so that soil is not drying out in a day or two. plan to immediately feed upon flushing.

Personally I wouldn't feed after flushing, there's still usually a slight amount of unleached nutrient ions still present, let the plant get those first, watch it during that time to make sure it recovers, then feed nutes. And try not to use so much nutes and don't fertilize every water, as smokey said.

Your plant looks pretty pale. Next time stay with a nitrogen rich fertilizer until 3-4 wks into flowering. During stretch your plant is gonna want more nitrogen than it did during veg. And it's not gonna need the extra phosphorous until you start to see good bud formation. As far as the stuff you're using, that's fairly heavy duty and I would only use it about every 5 days using plain water in between. Continuing with nitrogen during early flower will help it keep the bottom leaves and promote healthy stretch to maximize yield.
Too many people start feeding God-awful amounts of phosphorous as soon as they switch to 12/12 and then wonder why they lose the bottom leaves and start having plant problems. I was one of those people till I learned better.

So now I flushed.

Should I water with 1/4 strength dose of 20-20-20 nute, or should I wait a few days and add it in then?

Hydrotrhive is a vitamin B1 boost for your plants. It will increase yields, and help plants grow faster by stimulating the production of natural hormones. Works in both hydroponics and soil gardening. Also used regularly to give seedlings a quick start or to revive sickly plants.

i know its copied and pasted but it might just help you never know right unless you expect the unexpected but then you dont see whats right in front of you

judging by the overall light green of your plant it looks on the verg of an n deficiency, waiting will worsen the plants condition. 1/4 strengt now should be fine. if you were nute burn and not deficienct I would say wait. but she is hungry. i would go with 1/2 strength
