Yeild comparison: dwc vs ebb and flow?

Hey riu I have a little experience in dwc and flood and drain systems and am wondering how is the yield comparison when using ebb vs dwc especially for root mass etc? Does one out produce the other?

I would have to go with DWC, but not by much.
I prefer Ebb And Flow.
It's all about how well you run your system.
My last run was in Ebb And Flow, and pulled over 5 (Dry...) pounds from a 4x8 tent.
Over A Gram Per Watt and that was with Autoflowers.

I've got pictures of the 4h x 15w x 32l root masses in my last grow journal
DWC definitely is more prone to root problems than E&F.

I like the fact that with Ebb And Flow I don't have to freak about the power going out.
My plants are just fine for 12 hours, and will recover just fine after 24 hours without the pumps on.
( I would simply hand water them every 12 hours just to keep the roots wet anyway)

DWC without air pumps for an extended period of time can be a real shitty situation with drowned plants. You can't physically blow air into your res.
Ebb And Flow you simply use a bucket, and hand water.

That's the real advantage to me.

Check my sig for some Ebb and Flow action.

Peace.

one can not simply ask for yield.. yield is determined by a lot of factors, then bring potency into the picture and you'll have so many different opinions your mind will be scrambled. Ebb and flow i always though was better for larger scale to conserve water and space. DWC is great, but a alot of labor. either way i think you should turn towards the organics. we're friendly people. I actually think we should start calling it all natural
because now all of the chemical bottle companies and slapping organic on their label.
