year round green house.

i found a site with a year round green house. to me it looks like a large cold frame with a wood burning fire place and ventilation. would this work for cannabis ruderalis? are there any autoflower strains that could take a slightly colder temperature? obviously you wouldn't have the best yields in the winter but i feel like with the right modifications and prep it could be done. has anyone seen something similar or have any ideas on how to go at it?
