this is of the local usdoj website haha they are now recognizing " POPCORN" is a reletively new strain.... grown throught texas and a few close states.... a few growers on here are also growing this and lots of people have bought this before it is very popular in this area ...... its a head trippy high , large fluffy buds somewhat light green and many red hairs it smells very fruity/ spicy smell lol i love how they use "tweener" as a name for mid... ive also heard it as being sold for medical when grown right it is a mid but closer to higher grades,,,, ill provide more growth and harvest reviews in a few weeks hehe but i finnally have proof that it is a recognized strain well at least by the athourities

k well its def not a full sativa it has very indica looks

and as for wtf it is its a breed that came out of dallas not to long ago 5 to 10years tops its supposed to be a 60 40 mix indica dom

as for it bein shit it is a pretty good mid not as great as some of your strains but still pretty good and to say a mexican sativa equals shit means your a fuckin dumbass dude yeah genetics plays a big role but the reason its shit is their growin practices down there its mostly all commercial and then its bulked up to get it here in bricks..... the weed that i grew this from came almost straight of a plant from my buddies brother so i kno a lil bit about it but every time anyone says hey this is popcorn you instantly here nay sayers gripping about it cant be a strain i havent heard of it .... cus they apparently are gods in the pot world and kno every strain by heart..... or you hear oh you mean the small shit buds on the bottom of the plant ..... thanks to a shitty name choice

but what ever guys heres a few pics ill get more later down the line

these are day 20 flowering ... and my 3rd grow first inside tho so i kno they aint great

hmmm okay well do you kno anything about it cus as far as i got was a few people confirming what ive heard from the guy i got the seeds from and he said his brother grew it in hydro and called it popcorn

itd help if i could get some more info on this then cus i trust your opinion more than that other dude cus what hes talkin bout is brick dirt weedbongsmilie

that looks like well grown out regs. the strain you have probally did come out of a brick of weed at one point. dont get me wrong i have had fire brick weed.

idk then, ive had some pretty shit weeds and have smoked some really dank strains also... thats why i considerit a mid for the price it cant be beat but so basically its nothin special and run of the mill lol..... damn oh well i jus got all excited to see it up on the doj site haha they think its a localized thing hahabongsmilie

yeah sorry i came back like that im bipolar so i get thing twisted way to easy and yes the brick weed is shit i agree but ive never got this in from a brick and it def didnt look like it came from it from what i could tell every time ive bought it comes straight out of gallon bags to the scale has been that way for at least 3 years( same guy) haha but... isnt alot of strains from mexican sativa i kno its all over amsterdam rite .... chitown correct me if im wrong isnt sour d somewhere down the lines it has a mexican sativa crossed in with some afghani breed rite?

actually some mexican sativas are real potent and make up the backbone for alot of modern medical strains. but the majority of it is garbadge

i was just talking bout straight mexican sativa 100% runs only about 6-8% max thc which isnt really great comparatively to say your average beasters... bout 12% but in any case i hope that your popcorn bud come out nice man post some pics and overgrow the gov

exactly jus cus it was bricked doesnt always mean shit ( alot of times does cus it came from a commercial grow tho) you could brick up any thing and your classifying regs with mids dude the high grades are in the 20% ranges the mids being 10 to say 16 17
and regs( dirt weed) bein lower than 10%

this is how id classify it ...so your beasters maybe the regs for you guys but in the cannabis world there considered to be mids IMO..... and jus in the last 10 or so years was the raise of thc content so....

cus well handled weed will most likely look better than some shit that was stuffed in to bags or compressed into bricks then hauled god knows how far then distributed out to fuck ups whos jus out to make a buck

i dont classify mids... this is how it goes for me regs 4-8% thc, beasters 9-12% thc, high grade 12-17% thc, connoisseur grade 18%+ thc. it can be broken down farther depending on levels of cannabidiol which can change the type of high you get all together.
