Y splitters for light sockets banned in Australia?

I can't seem to find any of them here in New Zealand either

yea its something about fire hazard or something, or its the way they do shit with sockets im not sure. i heard it some where on here. in other countries their CFL's look weird too

The fire hazard is having extension cord upon extension cord. This rly sucks Guess I'll try order frm overseas?

Just use bigger CFL's
