XXxl hoods

Anyone use the xxxl hoods with 600 watt bulbs I currently use a 1000 in one of the xxxl hoods and wondering if anyone runs 6ers in them

i run xxxl's as well with 1k's. i hear about people running 1k's and dimming to 750

Ya a lot of people I know do with or without the hoods Ime not impressed with my 1000 I can do just as much with my 600

I'm running a XXXL with a 600 watt HPS bulb and I am VERY pleased with it so far. I just posted a pic in my journal of it.

I have 4 600 in bat wings in a 12x10 room and have heat issues,wantin to know if the magnums perform..i have had 85 degrees here an there in 30-40 degree outside temp...gonna get 4 mags and strap em to an inline 6in totally inclosed w fresh air..no need to scrub,it will all be sealed..whos got info?

I would go with a 8 inch hood so you are sure to extract the heat out of 3 reflectors
