You have no Idea. LOL So trip to Cabo was supposed to be for an engagement. Then found out she was cheating while we were out there. Not physcially cheating in Cabo, but texts from the guy while we were there. So That was ~$5k i spent for the trip, then the $3K+ ring I'm now sitting on with nothing to do. Mind you I just spent about $6k taking care of other stuff for her from some small debt to a couple tickets to putting tires on both her vehicles. Then came back and cut ties, other than our son. Bought my old stunt bike back and a little truck to haul it in. Then 3 weeks later got hit with $3K back taxes on my house. Got rear-ended in my new car. Had been working 14-18hr days so no time for shit. After two weeks of that and after another 18 hr day, getting 2-3hr sleep each night, driving my little stunt hauler stopped at a QT gas station to grab a soda and use the bathroom. didn't leave the truck in 1st gear, like I ALWAYS, do tired as fuck and not thinking. Apparently didn't even push the e brake to the floor either. So come out and truck is gone. Yeah rolled all the way back missing 4 gas pumps. 2 ford F250s, and a brand new C7 vette..... Hopped the curb and was sitting next to the damn price sign at the station.... smfh . No damage to anything. Lucky as shit. Then couple days later comes this past Sunday, Mothers day. Almost got hit by a tornado. Fence got blown the fuck down. Then another tornado. Finally get to take my Mom out for dinner and on the way home get T-bones in the truck. Door jams are fucked and it's going to be totaled most likely. Find out Saturday. Past month or two has been fucking retarded.
Women are naturally gifted at being deceitful (yes that includes our mothers too); some would even say spiteful. I'd share a story with you but I don't feel like taking away from your post. I'd say Sir Death has been lurking around you for some time now.. what's up with that?

Sorry about all that gk. Been through that same situation with the lady... hate liking posts like that.

Hopefully insurance steps up on the truck, and just worry about your kid. Fuck everything else, right?!

Take care dude

You can most definitely share a story. My threads a pretty dead not really so much about research or anything so don't worry about it.

I honestly don't think it's death because if it was I'd be dead. I think it's been more of an eye opener to not take things for granted and be more appreciative to the things I dismiss. To elaborate on why I don't think it's really all that bad. Only money was really lost. Both wrecks caused no bodily harm. The one in the car didn't even do any damage at all. The one in the truck just over the weekend I was going about 40mph and kid was pulling out of a gas station. When I fishtailed out I could have hit a concrete pillar or on coming traffic, but nothing. Just like when the truck rolled back it could have easily ended up hundreds of thousands to a million or so in damages. Two tornados missed us. Fence got blown down but my neighbor's son in-law got us a good deal. Redoing it all with metal posts and i'm only getting charged $125. Not to mention when I first got back and going through a bit of a depressed angry state. I was out on my 1000rr, not my stunt bike, and just hitting some back roads. Cooking about 140 out of this wide sweeper and there's a Tahoe cop. Nailed it and just kept going and he tried to pursue. Locked up the brakes and down shifting hard to come from an indicated 187mph to make a 90* left turn onto some back roads. over took two other cops, turn down another road and there is a cop up in front of me just sitting in the road, take a right head up that way and the original cop I believe it was (Because it was a Tahoe SUV cop) is coming right at me, locked up the rear slid dumped the clutch and drifted a little to complete the 180 and took of back the directino I came from then back to the point I first turned off I took a left to continue in the same direction I was originally traveling and took a long detour home about an hour out of my way. No plates on the bike or anything. But seriously, that's not bragging, it's just admiting it was dumb fucking shit. Again I'll say I was an idiot and not thinking in my best mindset. I mean I have a great career and a an absolutely amazing 4yo son. I don't think it's death I think it's lessons and realizations of what my mindset skewed away from reality.

Scotch man, You are 100%. I'm not worried about the truck or anything. It'll be alright one way or another. But yes my son is the most important thing. Think life just wanted to remind me of what really matters and not all the bullshit associated with it.

Oh and funny note. If anything I think the gas station price sign was trying to get me for talking shit about gas going up $1/gal in about 2 months. LOL The gas station the truck rolled back in is the same exact one the kid was pulling out of that hit me.

I was once in a long-distance relationship with someone I loved. Maybe I still love her, just at the lowest frequency. Do we actually stop loving people we loved before? Moving onward.. our relationship's origin was unique and unforgettable; I almost drowned in a river but pulled my focus together and eventually walked away with a babe and a bruise. Eventually our stay at our journey's crossroads passed and we moved apart from one another (in the physical sense). We stayed in touch despite the distance. Then one day I found myself on my way to see her; everything leading up to this gave me one impression leading to an assumption, which was that things between us were at least the same as how we left it, before our journeys parted in different directions. It would turn out not being the case. I didn't tap into her phone but I came to the realization, over the course of my visit, that there was someone else, even if she never met him before; she was seeking a better man.

I haven't talked to her since that stay. Since then, I've taken a fancy to poetry and playing guitar.

It comes down to how we handle life's blow backs. I believe I handled it to the best of my ability, and as a result I became more of a better man.

One of my favorite poets coined the phrase 'I ain't got time for bitches, I gotta keep my mind on my muthafuckin' riches'... it eventually sinks in to anyone who's had a run in with a few spiteful bitches in their time. Haha.

Did not handle mine so well. So gotta get back to things I enjoy and not detrimental. Like the stunt bike, working out, playing guitar, and those things I can use to occupy my time more productively.

And if any of you are thinking what the hell is a stunt bike. Here is a video from last year's 420 sesh. This year's is still being edited I believe.

Thanks GG. Been keeping things going and keeping to myself mostly. Been dabbling with concentrates again lately. About to really dig into building just like a 10x12 or 10x14 insulated shed with a good mini split. If anyone has any pointers or links on construction plans, insulation efficiency expertise would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure which one you're referring to. If the one with the peroxide bottle for size that's the old spice of life sweet tooth. If the one with the buds flopping over that's the galaxy. It was a freebie from pyramid seeds that turned out to be pretty awesome so it was kept around. The sweet tooth cut is about 10 years old and the galaxy has been in the circle for about 5 years now.
