Anyone heard of them???

These look like the ultimate in LED Technology so far???

Im a 1000w Gavita/Hortilux guy, and am very skeptical to change anything when I know it works, and its doing what I expect of it.

BUT. This stuff looks DANGEROUS. In a good way.

I was just surfing around last night looking into whats up new in LEP, and LED, and came upon X Led Technology company. WTF????

I messaged them, and asked them if they can make a light compatible for growing plants, as they say they can make about anything concerning LED. 3000k-7000k color temps too.

The crazy thing about these LED is the LUX, not to mention the Lumens, and contrary to popular misinformation, Lumens, and PAR are not far off from each other, and is a good indicator. of PAR. But they care about LUX.

But these lights are off the charts even for LED claims. Makes all other lighting look like a dim candle, going by the specs on these things.

This tech may be so bright, and so much LUX ect, it has to be used with caution Im sure.

How about 433,000 lumens Sq/m??? 3.5k watts. Real Watts.:hump::hump::hump::hump::fire::fire::shock::shock::shock:

Probably run hot too. Needs water cooled.:shock::shock::shock::fire::fire::fire::fire:

But 3500w, and 433,000 lumens and between 100,000 LUX, and 250,000 LUX.:cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

I believe the Sun is 100,000 LUX.

My question.
Heres what they wrote me. back.

Hi,

How about a unit that runs in

USA Voltage 120v-220

3100k temp
Run continuously
Cover a 5 x 5 area with 160,000 or more lumens
Grow Plants

Thanks

X Technology
Not any problem

Look on de website www.x-ledtechnology.com

Photo Gallery.

Water cooled units , 1x 1 meter (yard) 430000 Lumen from 3,5 Kw drivers for Lab in San Francisco ( 110V, running 24/7)

100000- 250000 Lux, equal to double of direct sunlight.

How many Lumens. What you want. Better to outline LUX; light intensity at the target (Lumen per square meter )

3000K to 7000K, what you want.

What’s 5x 5 for dimension. US measures with rather variable bodyparts like elbows, feet, thumbs.

Best regards

My question is why would you even want 3.5k real watts? You could slam 3kw hps in a tent, get the same lumens as the 3.5kw led, youd have the same cooling issues with both lights. I just dont get it.
What's the price point like?
This light may be useful in a 1000 watt version though. Lemme know what you find out

They say they can make anything you want. Doesnt have to be 3500w.

433,000 Lumens sq Meter 3500w???

Im not worried about a tent. Just the technology.
By comparison, the Sun is 100,000 lumens Sq/M

THATS...
Four Hundred Thirty Three THOUSAND LUMENS!!!!!???? For 3500w?? WTF????

How Efficient Is That?????

114 Lumens per Watt. The best Ive seen is 105 Lumens Sq/ft before this, which is a 12.6% increase in efficiency.

I messaged them about a unit that will cover 5 x 5 and put out 200000 LUX. 3100k

Gavita puts out 166,000 at 40 inches..5 x 5 If they can beat it by 40,000 lumens Im in, but I bet these units ae insanely expensive.

600w hps is around 140lm/w system level in a vert, quality digi ballast, bare bulb setup. Top group/bin mid power leds, cobs slightly more...... for perspective

But you know "lumens are for humans"..... umol/j,ppf/w is what matters for grow lighting

Just remember a 1000 watt hps is 145,000 lumens.. aka 145 lm/w
The Samsung strips are claiming around 180 lm/w. 114lm/w is pretty low, sylvania LEDs from Walmart push 110 lm/w minimum.
