raise your light :)
yeah i dont think its my light, 18 inches is pretty standard for a little 400w. The new leaves dont seem to be showing any signs of the curling so i think im good, upping the ppm to 500 here tonight, ill add some pics, these babies are flying

18" is a little high for a 400 watter but nonetheless, those are VERY small plants and they don't like really intense light. Curled edges usually means too much heat/light. little yellow tips and a "saw tooth look" on the leaves is over ferting.

I kind of thought that as well, they are pretty damn small. 500ppm is more apt for when the leaves are closer to "full size".

Here is the most helpfull hydro tip you will ever receive in your whole life...

Always run lower PPM's, when you see little spots, red veins on the stems, or the leaves becoming pale THEN and ONLY THEN, increase your ppm's by about 200-300.

that way, if the plants ever develop problems, you can rule out "lock out" or excessive salts, or all the other causes of problems that make new growers run around like chickens with their heads cut off. "maybe its this, no its this, wait a minute, I think it is this". When in actuality, all they wanted was a little more food.
