WW & NL Fems 4 site 2 tote DWC

Hi All, This is my first grow using bought beans. My first grow is bagseed which are in flower room now (journal in sig). They still have a few wks to go so these will be big before I'll have room in flower room. Started on 11-1 4 Northern lights and 4 White Widow feminized from Nirvana. Put the seed straight into rockwell cubes and the net pots, all but one of the WW popped in a matter of days.

The NL is out growing the WW in height but the WW is bushy as hell, cant even see the stem through the leaves. On one of the WW the branches are starting to outgrow the top.

Using GH 3 part nutes, 24 hr light, Ph around 5.7 and ppm around 700..
Sunleaves 4 site air pump with 2 14" airstones in each tub.
Rez temps are between 62 and 68 with ambient air between 68 and 74
Lighting is 2 4' flouros with cool and warm bulbs (I know ole school) and 2 smaller CFL's and a larger 150 W CFL. The 150 CFL will turn the leaves brown and spotted if let to get too close.
6" net pots with a lip that extends above the totes. On my other grow I used 4" that set flush and can't keep the hydroton in them. I strongly recommend having a lip to keep the hydroton in the pots while doing rez changes or other maintenance.

Enough ramblin heres some pics...
White Widow notice the branches in 3 rd pic far right side outgrowing main stem.

My main dilemma is that I wont be able to flower these for 4 or 5 wks. I have went to do some LST on the NL but cant bring myself to do it, they look so nice the way they are :) I know a some point I'm gonna have to.. I plan on cutting clones from both but as I said space is an issue and flower wont be ready for 4 to 6 wks. unless I sacrifice one of my bagseeds that are flowering now..

Been looking around at others WW grows but haven't found any that look quiet like these. Is it normal for them to be so short and bushey with branches outgrowing main stem?

AS a newbie grower I welcome any and all comments.

Thanks for lookin and Happy Growin!!! PEACE

Yes WW will be bushy as its mostly Indica. I'm growing White Russian which is a hybrid of AK-47 & White Widow ( Hence the name White Russian) honestly dude you have all your ducks in a row I dont use Tote's but your plants look legit and you know what you are doing. I am the same way you are I dont like bending or snapping branches .. You look set though dude.

My first attemp at LST I did just that snapped the sucker almost in 1/2. Don't work on the garden 1/2 in the bag anymore :)... Honestly, I just got done bending 2 of the NL and topping the other 2. Really hated to do it but it looks like they will be in veg for another 5 wks or so thanks to the Sativa bagseed thats budding now (in its 5th wk).. I also plan on taking some clones from these but again gotta wait for room in the flower area. Thanks for your comments they are appreciated as far as having my ducks in a row.... juries still out :)

Here's some pics of the LST I did on the NL yesterday, they have already turned back to the light. I also topped the 2 in the back.

And heres the White Widow. The one on the far right got strange growth goin on. 2 of it branches from the same node (?) have out grown the top. I do plan on cloning both strains in about 3 wks. Would the branches that are outgrowing the top be good candidates for clones? Is it OK to take a clone from a clone?

Those are going to be monsters if you veg another 4 weeks! I'm subbd up for this one!
Glad to have ya aboard, I'll be updating at least weekly... My flower room is currently full of some Sativa dom bagseed in their 5th wk, I'm guessing another 5 or so wks till their done and I can move these otherwise I'd be flowering a lot sooner...

Heres what I'm thinkin but haven't done any research yet to know if its even possible. Just before I send these to flower cutting 4 or 5 clones from each strain and let them veg for the 8-9 wks it'll take these to flower. Then cutting clones from the clones and repeat.. Any ideas if this work or is not good to cut clones from clones?

Peace!!

LOL 60 views and no comments, Is it that bad?
Not at all man. My grow has over 700 views and only 54 posts. Some of those are mine.

Nice looking grow man. One day I may get my hands into some form of hydro grow. I want to get some soil under my belt first. Your plants look great....I can see ALL of the tasty buds that will bloom on them.

Im subbing also..this will be another fun one to watch...you have your shit squared away on this.

Well so much for keeping this updated lol. I put the NL in the flower room on Dec 28 so this should be day 42 of flower if you start counting from when the light was change? It took about a wk to see hairs.

The WW is no longer with us. I had a bad mite problem that I overlooked and to save the NL clones I did away with the WW. The mites sure did seem to prefer the WW over the NL. I am now battling the dreaded borg. How I got them in the winter is beyond me but.....

So enough ramblin here's some pics....

Whoa..... its been awhile since I posted pics...

Not sure if ya can tell by the pics but most of the main colas ar laying sideways. I had to do some bending after they stretched to keep them from growing into the light.. While doing so I bent one branch a little to far and it ended up dying and drying on the plant. Even though it isn't finished the smoke was great... I can hardly wait... I'm thinking 2 to 3 wks and they'll be done :) Peace and Happy Growin!!!

Ty Flo, Two of the plants have a more skunky smell and one of them has more of a sweet candy like smell. They all looked the same but one did have a different smell, different pheno maybe... idunno :) The trichs are cloudy w/only a couple amber... I flash dried a bit before harvest and was happy with the results... Now for the curing process................. Peace!!
