LOL, I think we are the ones being tortured her, all these bud pics and stuff... when we get our first harvest we should be sorted and THEN I will do the torturing....mmm look at these buds mmmm so tasty and smooth mmmm hahaha

hhahahahaha...yea totally true....and some many people are growing such awesome crops....they truly ae beautiful....but I am gettig to a point now where I am actually starting to see that value in the waiting....i had to do it last year when I grew shrooms.... and this is very similar, except the shrooms are actually faster...

Took some pics tonight, she is budding nicely so far.

A question though, the last few weeks I haven't flushed the plant at all, but she seems to be doing great. Is it still necessary to flush every now and again?

Thanks Bud Yeah it doesn't make sense to me this whole flushing thing, if the plant is healthy and doesn't have nute burn then why would you want to deprive it? It's so unnatural, and even doing it the lsat week doesn't make sense to me, when the buds thickening out and you deprive it with just water. Some ppl say they do it for the taste but what about bud grown outside? I've never had bad tasting bud from outside???

I believe it has somethingto do with flushing the unnatural salts that accumulate from using tap water....or whatever...and this can be really bad depending on how bad ur water is. I have a full purification system on the whole house water so I am not too worried about it....but I'm still gonna read up and make sure that I'm not at risk..

Or rather the salts in the nutes I think. When I water I water from the top and make sure alot comes out the bottom, and I get white powdery stuff left there afterwards. So I'm guessing thats the excess salts so maybe I just don't need to flush...well judging by the plants i really don't think. But if I had problems then yeah maybe, I just don't get why ppl do it so much and deprive the plant of what it needs, unless ofcourse the salts are building up

well there is a lot of good information that get provided and circulated.....however, there is also a lot of mass psychology.....and many follow the herd...when the herd is only herding because they are herd animals.....get them to stop and ask them why they're herding, and everyone will look at each other, none knowing exactly why they were herding in the first place....

Yeah alot do tend to do that. I do what I feel is right from looking at the plant and using what limited amount I know so far, and mostly it's just a gut feeling. And I feel good about the plant now, it's doing great so I'm not going to change a thing even if the norm suggests it..

the gut is good....I spent far too much time chasing thin gs that I thought I should...only to realize I just have to listen to myself! good work man....keep walking forward...

I ordered one of these today MG Envirolite 200w Lamp / Bulb: Basement Lighting Hydroponics and Plant Grow Lights. I wonder if I made the right choice though. I ordered the blue spectrum, I'm 1 week into flowering and have a 400whps on the lady. So should I have gone with blue or would red have been the better choice? I can change the order to red as there weren't any in stock...

for flowering I believe the red is the desired.....honkin' ass bulb! I want to grab one of them for the vege compartment in my new cab....there's a 125W there now.

Yeah, can't remeber where I read it , but there was a suggestion that blue light is needed all the way through, and generally just good for the plant. So I don't know. Like I said I already have a 400w hps that is obvioulst red, and I was going to but the 200w cfl to shine on the side of the plant, but the hps will also be going. Thus a blue and red mix? Tahoe would you have gone red? Like I said I can still change the order..

You could also get a 250w cfl CFL Lights > CFL Lamps > Envirogrow CFL Lamps
