awsome thread thanks for the info, were you going to post a pic or ask for some advice or did you just want to vent?

Your plants are stretching for light. They've gotten too long and r toppling over. Try moving the light closer & check out the new to growing forums. Many of your questions can be answered there. Peace!

i have a 2 24" t5, what would you suggest?
thanks for the response
I would get those so close they are touching the plants. now you will need to get something to prop them straight up and drop the lights right down on them if they arent too hot. I thought with those long tubes you should be less than 3" from the tops

It also looks like you may as well go ahead and transfer to soil if thats the media you are using then you can get a fan on them as you drop the lights and get something to prop them up

Seen an answer given a few times, and a valid question inferred.

How far away is your T5 assembly from your grow tray?

T5's are not too hot and they can be as close as 2" from your sprouts without damage. Make sure you have airflow across them is all.

You problem will be that they have already stretched pretty bad.

my lights were about 3-4" from the plants, i have a large fan on the floor, it is strong enough to have the plants look as if they are flowing

Why didn't you just bury them deep into pots so you don't have to tie em up.
You do it that way and the stems will stay small. Get em in pots bury them deep
enough you don't have to use ties & get a fan on em.
Also get more light cause I don't think that will sustain them through
the whole veg process let alone flowering. It will also help them stop stretching so bad.

Yah they look big enough to put in the pots and bury a bit and get the fan on them and they will do fine.
