Fighting tyranny is like fighting anything, advertising and signs or propaganda have been part of war for a long time now. It ranges from the info war, to eventually blowing tyrants brains out, we havent been hurt enough for the latter.

Maybe in the future the U.S will build a monument for you freedom fighters,

fighting tyranny by "putting stickers on onramps" lol

I've had my comedy for the day.

Speaking of "propaganda", I am reminded of a funny but true story concerning Ol' Joe. No, not that puffed up gump Biden, no, the REAL DEAL, Ol' SMOKIN JOE STALIN!
Turns out he banned the magazine "Arizona highways" magazine from entering the Soviet Union in the 50's. The magazine wrote him a letter asking why their magazine should be excluded since there is absolutely not a political slant in the mag ever!

They were informed that Stalin did not believe such beauty existed in the United States and that the entire magazine was a tool of propaganda!! The photos must be doctored in some way! True story....

Moral of the story: If you depend on propaganda, you will in turn see it everywhere, and the path to your goals will be obscured along with your chance of success.

If I remember correctly, you're ex-military arent you? What happened to that oath where you swear to protect the constitution against enemies foreign and domestic? If people actually took that oath seriously we wouldnt have so many political problems today. Everyone knows elections are a douche vs a turd situation, everyone knows politicians are corrupt, everyone knows the media is full of shit, but everyone seems to be ok with this. Everyone seems to think they are protected by our men and women in the military, but instead those people that could be reinstating the constitution at home, are used as pawns in foreign affairs and wars for profit, or to spread Mobocracy(Democracy), the new Christianity.

So I do as much as I can in the information war, because eventually people wake up and get it. Ive gotten 3 calls just recently as we near the end of the elections from people that turned off the TV and actually started reading, someone people just find Ron Paul and are inspired to dig deeper, I wonder if anyone ever questioned why Ron Paul stickers are on every sign, and these spray painted-over signs of Ron Paul are everywhere. I wonder if any of them decided to dig deeper and start reading instead of accepting illusions from the picture box.

Everyone sees propaganda everywhere. Some can identify it and some cannot. All advertising can be considered propaganda, any media aimed to influence groups of people is by definition propaganda.

Its interesting that my beautiful country was so beautiful that Stalin could not believe it.

Yeah, that's an interesting story, and mostly true. The only thing was, it was 1965 when that happened and Stalin was dead. The Soviet Union didn't actually have a premier then, as Khrushchev had just stepped down.

I haven't liked the choices in any of the presidential elections in the past, but I really think Obama has the potential to be one of our great presidents. Politicians aren't always corrupt, there are plenty of good ones you just don't hear about because they aren't in the news for corruption scandals. The media is usually pretty honest, but they do have a tendency to tell people what they want to hear in order to boost ratings. With the Internet, this is becoming less relevant as you can get your news from pretty much anywhere.

You are 100% correct about it being Khrushchev and not Stalin. I got my dictators mixed up. Thank you.

As a happy coda to my story, I noticed that the local Dems must have done a midnight driver by last night. As of this morning, there was a brand spanking new Obama for President sign in my front yard, as well as a Vote Democratic Be The Change sign.

Did you see the video of this McCain supporter who got tired of people stealing his "vote for" signs? He ran his electric fence current through the sign post with a big warning of "Do Not Touch (electrified)". Then some responsible "mommy or daddy" sent their what looks to be a 5 year old or less to snatch the sign... ZAAAP!!!
I'm betting the poor kid couldn't read... Nice Mom and Dad huh..... "here Billy, go steal signs, it's fun!!" Nice lesson learned. Don't trust your parents!! :peace:
