WTF? LED or soil or what is doing this to these plants?

This is my first attempt at growing indoors since the early '90s. I turned out many good crops using a soil-less mixture and a 400 HPS with little problems back then.

Fast forward to now - I have 2 -120W quality LEDs over some Northern Lights and Bubblegum, growing in Ocean Forest in one gallon pots (for now), 24 hour light so far, 42"w x 72"l x 84"h room. Good ventilation and constant air flow. Seeds were started under florescent tubes in jiffy cubes. I had temp issues during germination and had to plant twice, only had one survivor from the first go around. Plants are not too old, between 2-4 weeks. No feeding yet, just water as they were only transplanted about 10 days ago.

I have never seen leaves look like this. They start out yellow, particularly on the leading edges. They don't seem to get more yellow, but they don't green up either.

What is going on here? Thanks in advance!

I was thinking the same thing, but from everything I have read Ocean Forest is supposed to have enough built in to last a couple weeks or so. I was afraid I would burn em.

Guess I'll give 1/4 rate and see.

Thanks for the help.

OF has enough for 2 weeks max. works a bit longer on reg plants but bud plants just love to suck up those nutrients!
the only soil i know of that has food for more than 2 weeks is a local norcal soil called amazon bloom full 30 days of food without being too rough on clones or small seedlings.
i used it with a 1/3 concentration into equal parts roots organic soil and some sunshine mix peat moss and put seeds straight into it. worked great they absolutely love it with no burning at all.
as for nutes def start at 1/2 strength or less every other time. and you should have some nice dank plants
p.s i did OF for my first grow with the fox farm nute line and started feeding after 2 weeks.

good luck man! start a journal so we can all follow id love to see how these hps turn out
