Wtf leaves turned smooth

Hey growing 2 ww in hydroton about 3 weeks old decided to top my plants one plant responded fine but the other all the leaves have mutated they are smooth not serrated and look odd any advice would be great.

Can't say, I've had it before. So I'm not sure.

Looks that way the top looks fine nice branching. some threads I've read says certain strains more likey, fucked if i know keep growing fingers crossed some potent buds.

I have to be honest, I thought basil too, until I saw the other plant in the top left corner.
Then I figured you might actually be telling the truth lol.
So I gave you the benefit of the doubt.

Seems it does happen.
Strange. Hasn't happened to me.
But seems to happen, when searching Google.

This is the one next to it same strain.
