WTF is up with these buds?

These are soil kush plants at 8 weeks into flowering.. rather than the normal rounded tops they are growing like chutes or little arms out of the tops of the biggest buds. NE1 know? the ak-48 and white widow plants growing along side them did not do this. these are kush clones taken from mother plants that grew fine so i'm pretty sure it's something i did wrong vs the plant genes.

my guesses are that 1) I got lax on keeping them totally dark for the full twelve and let some light leak to them while i was working on other plants. i also bought green flood lights for the grow room because I saw on a cervantes vid that the green lights are ok to work under? used them quite a bit 2) i switched from miracle grow bloom booster to advanced nutrients micro,grow, bloom just before they showed these arms. maybe they got something they were missing and took off growing like that?

From what I've seen thats normal over growth. IMO just means the plants are happy and have an abundance of food to disperse throughout the cola region, with the right amount of light extra weird growth is achieved. I'm at week 6 with my green crack and she's an 8 week plant, shes had her general bud profile for a while now; but just recently in the past few days started spurting random new white hairs and more pistols in that specific area. They are randomly popping up in the middle of some of the colas, pretty late for new growth IMO. No matter what what you have just means more bud, so it's win win.
 
mm looks like foxtailing to me. my plants did that because i had them to close to the light and they were getting to hot. it is usually caused by something your plant is happy with. Beware of bananas...
 
a male flower that your female plant grew due to light stress. it will drop pollen and seed up the whole crop. the green light is fine, thats not it. your plants foxtailing as said b4, its normal, but im worried for your sake they arent all hermie or pollinated by some bananas you didnt know about.
 
p.s green flood lamps are incandesent i believe,,and that means it WILL fuck up there sleep cycle...you want a green l.e.d Damn that Jorge!!!!not specific enough.
 
is the foxtailing like nanners i think thats the right name for it, just extra growth, smoke it, same as the rest hehe

that is true, its an incandesent, but i use the green party incandesent bulbs in my room and have for a long time and never had any negative effects.
 
nah, my luck is pretty shitty actually, i know plenty of experienced growers who use it and dont have any problems. roseman is the one who told me it would work and he does it and others chimed in about it and were all positives about it. I dont see why they would all lie combined with the fact i do it myself now and have had no negatives leads me to believe it. lol
 
Bananas... look exactly like they sound. They can grow in clusters and also in the bud, but if they are occurring you will find them on or around the fox tails.. you got some time left before cutting down so just pluck them. Hopefully you remedied the problem in time and are good to go.

i just know i've fucked shit up with a green party bulb...i guess it just depends on the stability of the strain...i was growin elvis and it is so high mataince indoor...peas
