WTF is this? Anyone know?

Whats up RIU? Well I've got a blueberry x Burmese that's about a month into flower, things look good for the most part, but 2 of my tops almost look like cauliflower or something. What do you guys think? Attached are pics of the whole plant and one of the affected tops.

General Hydro 2 part, I stick pretty much to the bottles recommended doses. Only happening on 2 of the tops, the rest of plant looks completely normal.
 
looks fine,thats resin growing on the bud,seen alot of blueberrys look like that,chunky,nice looking plant and buds,
should be fat packed bud,its better they look like that then full of leaf, check it out with loop you should be able to see lot of tricks all globed together,looks like i see alot on the leafs too

well I hope your right Joob. I'm gonna check with the loupe tonight and take a look.
 
It looks to me like it could be a hermie. I've seen that before with them. It's the male parts trying to grow through the bud just my opinion tho

that was my initial thinking. I'm gonna leave it anyway since it's the only one in my big tent right now anyway. maybe I should just cut those 2 buds off? Literally the rest of the plant looks perfect....decisions decisions

My exact thoughts too

do u have extractor whats the temps in there

is it the buds closest to the light thats effected ?

and that doesnt seem too close to me but depends if your bringing in fresh air and extracting the old warm air out ?
 
it's a sealed 4'x4' tent with a 4" typhoon extracting air, intake is just passive, but it's the same thing I've been doing for a year or better. Temps stay around 77 lights on, but get down to like 55 with lights off.
 
i saw that before. Someone had stressed his girls out by turning the lights on during night. The calyxes swoll up but they didn't herme, knock on wood.
 
oh i didnt see where u said it was only on 2 buds,but i meant by resin the calyxes get bulky with resin,almost like a seed pod,makes it have that coliflower look,ive had it on some buds before,whole bud looked like that,other buds didnt,it smoked very good,thats all i know,lol
 
I tend to agree with the above posts.....it's distorted growth from heat from the bulbs. Either raise your lights a bit or have a fan blowing at the light shield.
