WTF is my plant doing?? (Pics)

Hey guys,m not sure if im going crazy or not but my plants are growing these weird hand leaves that look like spinach leaves? Any help or knowledge of this would be helpful!!!!! Here are some pics?





 
Im just using gh flora nova and I have some homemade organic compost mixed into my sunshine #4? But I have this other strain in the garden too and it actually looks like marijuana? I dont know it has been extra hot and dry this spring?

 
Very odd, please elaborate on the origin of that plant, looks like a mutant clone to me, do you know of its history/genetics?
 
That clone is 1/2 way in and out of Veg/Flower.

Its hormones are all screwed up because you did not match the Photoperiod.

Must have flowered early and now its trying to start new growth...

You should snip all the small frosty buds off because the plant is no longer finishing them.. Those buds will rot away if you don't..

Just dry what you snipped and cure it to get a small preview of whats coming next flower.
If you don't cure properly (burping in a jar), it wont be as potent, if at all.

It will make the reveg process faster. She will balance herself out , the number of blades per leaf may or may not come back.. nothing to worry about..

Hey thanks guys! I put em out in april to harden and then planted em on may 1st and they started normal and as soon as the warm weather came, well I call it spinach started to happen the plant is purple trainwreck and its a sativa??
 
Interesting. I thought about trimming plants down to one or two blades per leaf, after they reached a certain size, to disguise them in the back yard. I'm sure it would hurt the overall size and yield of the plant, but I'm not trying to grow monsters. It wouldn't have the characteristic 5/7/9 leaves that most people would recognize.
 
the same thing happened with my plants. my friend use to start them inside in february and flower them for a week inside and weed out all the males. this is completely normal and happened to all my plants last year, they had 7 leaflets when we put them outside and went to 5 then to 3 then to 1(spinich leaves) then back the other way. it happens when the plants re-veg, this also causes you to lose a minimum of a month of growing time, but at least you dont waste your time growing males.

Yeah, it looks 100% like a sativa strain. bongsmilie
 
your alright, the same thing happened to me last year. its because your plants were starting to go into flower, and now they are just trying to reveg. all summer long last year, my plants never grew any more than 3 finger leaves, but the harvest was still awsome. you will be fine.

X2 on that.Put that plant out early in the spring while day hours were still short enough to induce flowering,when the days got longer it went back into veg.I got two doing same thing but mine are starting to get the normal type leaves again.Should be good,rock & roll.
 
i kinda like it, it's very hard to tell it's a pot plant. personally i'd fuck around with pruning it too, but i would let it look different, it wont hurt the buds unless you leave too many leaves and they either block out light and or suck up all ur flowering nutrients.
