Wtf am i doing wrong???

I had some seeds in a papertowel and three started to germinate and when I put them in the rockwool they completly stopped...it has been about two or three days and they have not done anything. This is like my third time germinating seeds that did nothing but turn black...I never had this problem when I was growing outdoors...wtf

try just planting them, then carefully moving them. most people just grow them and let them germinate on their own.

is it wet? ive never used rockwool i just toss em in some dirt when the roots pop out and their growin out of the dirt in a day or 2 works every time

Take a paper towel and wet it. Squeez out most of the water, you want damp not soaking wet. Roots need OXYGEN to thrive. Throw the damp paper towel with seeds in the middle in a ziplock bag and seal leaving a little extra air in the bag. Place in a warm (75-80) environment in the dark. Every day open the bag at least once to let fresh air in and check the dampness of the towel. If it's getting dry sprinkle a few more drops of water on it in the bag. When you notice the tap roots are about 1" long, you're ready to transplant to rockwool. Place the seeds gently in the rockwool taproot down, and close lightly, you don't want to squish them in there. The head of the seed should be just below the surface. Place this under flouros or HID (2-3 feet away) and keep it slightly warm (75f is perfect). In a day or two your seeds should push through the surface and shed their seed casing. Good luck! :peace:

why are you quoting me im not the one that needs help :P and iive never used a ziplock i just use wet paper towels or toilet paper in a bowl works every time

sup smokie im smokey.
looks like you have a case of premature killulation of germed seeds. i would recommend that you dont use the paper towel method rather do nothing and plant directly into the RW making sure to keep them toasty warm and damp or you can soak the seeds in distilled water for 24 hours before going to RW. there is no real advantage to having the tap root exposed when planting and gives a greater chance of damaging the tiny lil lifeline. Also some finicky strains will die because of the oils from your fingers if they are touched after germination. so i say if your not having any luck try to dumb it down to as simple as possible so you know at which step exactly they are dying and can try and avoid these mistakes later.
i sure hope your usin a bag seed and not wasting a bunch of good genetics
