WTF - All Males???

So I started 3 ShortRyder and 3 Freebie seeds from Nirvana about 45 days ago and they just started to show sex today (I flipped it to 12/12 so all 6 would show) and they seem to be all males!!!! :spew:

So what the hell, did I do something wrong or do I just have bad karma :evil:

?

I'm running a 250w HPS with an aircooled hood in a cabinet that I believe to be basically light leak free. They are growing in 2L Hempy buckets and I'm using the Lucas Formula for nutes.

I'm still holding out hope that 1 or 2 aren't males and I'm just seeing new leaves but I'm pessimistic about it.

Just bad luck I assume if they weren't feminized.

They were not feminized, is there anything I can do to improve my male/female ratio? I'm gonna pop some more seeds tonight or tmrw.

Got any pix? That would be really shitty man, if they were all dudes.
To test your cabinet, put the lights on in it and have it in a dark room and check for leaks, or just throw a blanket over it.

probly both tbh though more likely to be enviroment
to create males
more red spectrum light
higher temps (more than 85f)
less humidity (less than 40%)
more stress
dryer growing medium
more potassium in growing medium than nitrogen
combine those together and u got urself a loads of males

and before some dickhead says that sex is determined from birth (which IT ISNT) , those dont make males but increase the chances of males , just to make that absolutely clear

Pic six looks to be a female to me bud. Not to sure but looking at the sac in the node area it looks more tear dropped than rounded. This is usually a good sign its gonna be a little lady. I am a 3 for 3 on ID'ing them that way on my own plants. Previous to pistils coming out.

so the balls I'm seeing at the nodes could in fact be pistils on the way? this is my first grow and I've read A LOT but that's the first mention of that I've seen. I would be crazy happy to have any females at this point after all the work I poured into these young'uns

Its really not a ball looking thing ill post a pic of some of my previous females before pistils and you'll see what i am talking about.

the last couple of pics that have the balls are males. males usually show sex first, if they don't have the balls keep 'em, the ones with the balls, toss 'em unless you wanna grow a buncha seeds

So my male panic was a bit premature. It looks like I'm gonna have me 2 healthy women!!!! One short ryder and one freebie. I'm gonna clone the freebie and grow them both out, super excited.
