here is my outline and the definition of it
i have taken a SMALL sized dresser and added hings to one of the drawers after taking off every piece besides the pieces and screwed the other one in (dresser only contains 2 drawers its small)
i am doing this more for a experience with dirt from my back yard becuz im saving on money and was told its good becuz it contains good nutrains would this work? im not sure and im using cfls i know the minimum is 5000 lumens but i should have enough(not bought the lights yet) i added a garbage bag with white printing paper taped to one side and the black garbage bag side towards the drawers screwed the garbage bag into the not top but top and sides of the empty dresser to block out any light leaks threw the dresser cracks. im not going to be using nutes im going all organic and im doing it micro as im only growing for my self and the space is small maybe 3-6 seedlings and 2-4 plants i want to grow to harvest (height restricted) so im doing lst by tying the plants stems to the Tupperware, plastic or whatever type or pot i use that ill decide once i obtain the seeds and have them in germination. im going to use screw in hooks in the top of the dresser for the main light reflector what ever i use probably a pie pan(aluminum or what ever shiny pie pan) and then adding pop cans cut to the right angel for PERSONAL cfl reflectors screwed in to either the pie pan or a piece of wood remaining from the drawers i toke apart and 4 chains added to each corner of the wood to adjust the height of the lights. and then comes the problem its stealth the original appearance of the dresser looks stealth but closer u can tell it has hings(i fucked up the wood :( ) but the main deal is i cant have smell or MUCH noise unless im home(i attend collage and i live in my parents house for another 2 years until i graduate) so i found 2 small fans from the canadian tire website but dont no how much noise they make one is 4 inchs so it would be a good size i was going to add 2 holes to the back of the dresser one at the top with the one 4 inch fan and a carbon filter or dryer sheets and coffee grounds in a homemade filter and the other one on the bottom of the dresser with only a filter and no fan i thought becuz the fan would be pulling the air out the pressure in the grow box would cause air to pull in threw the filter in the bottom even if it pulls threw slow but my main question is will one fan in this set up work like the way i outlined it?
and do i need the fan to be running 24/7? becuz i live with my parents they sometimes come in my room for my clothes to be put away or anything else and im at collage so i cant cover up the sound of the fan so i was thinking of only having the fan running from 3pm-10pm (minimum) would this work?

anyone that can answer any of my questions will receive + rep

also any comments, hints, tips, or good FREE budget ideas better then mine please state it thanks in advance
and sorry fr talking so much im talkative when im ripped lol :P

hey its not too small trust me if people can grow in a PC case this is WAY more then big enough its like a pc case but a bit taller and wider but do u have any information that u think i stated that wouldnt work? ANYONE?

I don't know if using outside soil is a good idea. My last grow was in soil and even though I used potting soil, I did have to move my plants outside. They were only out there for a month, but after moving them back inside I have had an impossible-to-solve bug problem. I've drenched my plant and soil in insect killer several times and still I see a multitude of movement in the soil every time I water. I even changed out the soil since I brought it inside!! I think if you're serious about this, the least you could do is invest in a ten-dollar bag of soil. I understand the need to save money, I'm on a tight budget myself, but a bug problem would be detrimental to the survival of your babies!

besides the outside soil(ill probly find some soil i can carry in my backpack from walmart or canadian tire which would have better/cheaper soil?
