would it be a big waste doing 12/12?

So the dilemma is...I already started 3 fem plants (not autos) that popped up last week. But I do have a few autos I wanted to do also this year (all indoor). Seeing how it will be getting colder sooner and the times are slowly getting closer to 12/12, would it be a waste to start my autos now and eventually put them all in the same room on 12/12 so the photos would start to flower before it gets too cold out? I am growing indoor but not in a climate controlled area. I would just use 2 seperate rooms but I want to use my only hps for best results .

What do you think?

autos need there light this might b a pain in the ass but this is what i would do get some cfls put your autos under them for veg when they start flower move them under hps with other plants b4 hps light shuts off move the autos to a diffrent room under cfls or t5 or t8s for 6 or 8 hours sounds like pain in the ass but your autos will thank u for it

Not a horrible idea, for sure pain in the ass tho haha

they really need as many hours as possible in veg get as much growth as you can
they flower ok not the greatest but not bad under 12/12
makes the buds look better IMO

i know a lot of people in LA who flower autoflowers with 18+ hrs of light. The ideology behind it is they will flower no matter what the light schedule is and the more light you give any bud the bigger it will grow. People have been getting good results with that technique. so i would leave it 18/6 and keep your veg plant and flowering plants all under the same lights

I figure I'm gonna do 20/4 and just let the photos veg till the autos are done and try to finishing the others inside if I can

Add the autos to the grow area while you veg the photos, when the autos are ready you can start flowering the Photo plants, this way you have buds the entire time. Start the whole process over again.
Make sure to take cuttings/clones before the photos flower. It just makes sense.

I just want to make sure the autos get the most light as possible tho, the strains I'm running are suppose to have good yeilds (afghan kush ryder, mazar and amnesia) so I wanna make sure they get the best they can
