Would I Qualify? (Depression/OCD)

Well, I talked to my psych about getting MMJ. Her belief, along with my case worker and therapist, is that I'm "way too smart for pot". What kind of asinine response is that from a medical professional? That's something a mom would tell her kids, not a psych to a patient. So, I decided fuck it and try to get MMJ by using my prescription bottles.

But before I give up $80 for an evaluation (I have Medi-Cal) I ask, would having clinical depression and obsessive compulsive disorder be enough to qualify me? I mean, dank helps me forget and laugh at my obsessions and it makes me feel better. It also help me eat and sleep which I do very little of because of my depression which causes me stress.

I've been hospitalized twice at a psychiatric hospital because of my depression and I found that bud, along with my medication, really helps me out. I think calmer, I see life in a brighter perspective, and I feel great after a good blaze. What do you think? Would I get the boot or would I qualify?

Any compassionate physician will give you a recommendation to use marijuana if you tell them what you told us. You say you benefit from using it, so that's good enough.

I don't know about your neck of the woods but out here %99.9 of our medical marijuana recommendation Doctors you don't pay anything if you are not approved so worst case you lose a couple hours of your day.

you should be fine I don't see why you wouldn't get it.

it really depends on where you live and who you go to. good luck. Whoever says MMJ doesn't help with anxiety, is an idiot.
