Would any kind of regular light bulb work for growing indoors?

Hey, I'm looking to start growing my own plants in my house. Preferebly in the closet. The biggest issue im worried about is wether or not there are any household lightbulbs i could use. So, if anyone knows, could u please let me know.

no, use cfls. 6500 kelvins for veg growth, and 2700 for flowering growth. Look on the website, there is a ton of information.
