YEa...that does make sense...i'm trying to buy a cool tube reflector hood for my light...the hood i have now burns up my plants and keeps the temps way too high...so as soon as i get that hood the magic will happen! i'm def going to ditch the cfls as the main light on top and replace that with the hps...then use the cfls for side lighting...

omg! Bro! Thats craziness! I don't know if i could deal with that type of climate...I HATE the cold with a passion...now i won't complain about my 40degree weather...i'll be grateful!Mate it's minus 2 here ....... And my tents in my loft with the ventilation round the roof it's fooking freezing ...

Well...i thought i would be flowering by now but the stupid company took their time to ship my hood even after i noted an urgency...Its ok...i'll return the favor with some nice ebay feedback! According to the tracking, i should have it tomorrow...soupped! Here are some quick update pics of everything... The sour plant somehow attracted some spidermites...so for tonight, she comes out of the tent and goes under a solo light for the night. Tomorrow, I will go down to the Home Depot and get some 3 in 1 mite killer...I hate those things...they totally screw up your plant...i already power sprayed her down...gonna do it again before i hit the bed....the clones are healthy...but have not shown signs of roots yet...i believe sometime this week i should see roots...the two bagseed plants are healthy and spidermite free...
I purchased a great magnifier from ebay...its super cheap...$6.16usd and its bigger than most magnifiers and has a rosewood handle...its totally official! heres a link if anyone needs to grab one...I highly recommend it...especially for trichs!

The two Afghan Kush Gmen cheerleaders are super healthy...although they look like two different strains...i guess the smaller lady has to get bigger for me to really tell. So glad i seperated them...They are going to be killer! I just know it! I'm really suprised the smaller one lived...i gave her extra love!

Seems like i took care of the spider mite problem. I went to home depot and purchased a spray called Natria Neem Oil. Stuff stinks! made my girls stink for 2.5 days! But guess what...spider mites seem to be gone and my girls sour smell is back! Awesome product...I highly recommend it! What i did was soaked the plant...let dry for 2 hours and repeat process 2 more times. Let sit outside while doing because the fumes are unbearable. AFter inspection this morning, I put the timer on and we are now in 12/12...Cant wait til the magic starts! The Afgan cheerleaders are doing just fine! I took the bigger one out of the solo cup and put her in her own self feeding pot...I'll give the smaller one another week before I give her a new home...

Mate was a storm last night lol 140mph winds over high ground, roofs off, trucks toppled and bridges shut, temperatures are to drop to -2 tonight just your winter in north Uk mannnn 
In my tent temps are holding just great, fingers crossed it stays like that way the hole grow now I spent time trying to fix it so hopefully I get rewarded ....
Did the hood make a great diffrence to your temps ?

The hood made a tremendous difference...lowered temps 10-15 degrees...before the hood i was getting temps of 100-115 with the tent closed...about 95-105 with it opened...now, with the cool tube reflector hood, my temps are about 90-95 with the tent closed and 85-90 with it opened...way more control of the heat. I can nearly perfect my grows now...no more burning up the plant...
About the cool tube hood...here is a link to the one i purchased...the guy still has over 10 available and i highly recommend this exact one because of the sturdiness of the metal and quality overall.

As far as ventilation, i don't really have any right now...I did add a fan to the tent blowing upward in the middle of all three flowering plants...thats working out even better! My temps have dropped down another 5-10 degrees...average temp with the tent closed is 85 degrees! Absolutely perfect and where i want it to be. All i really have to worry about now is odor control because its starting to smell a bit. Going to order an ona block and see how that helps.
update pics! Roots on the Sour D clones are starting to show...i think a few more days i'll be able to plant them! One will be a mother and the other two are already sold...just waiting for them to be potted...getting $50us a clone...which i think it pretty damn good for a baby plant...The sour looks great and so do the two bagseed plants...The Afghan is doing wonderful! I just replanted them yesterday into pots...no more solo cups!

Lol...Madonna...no way man...and i haven't physically used a cd in about 2 years...i have a tv in my car and i download all my music and movies to an sd card and play my music off the sd card...cds are useless now...Ha ha just laughing at the use of your Madonna and led Zeppelin CDs........
