Worst break up on RIU - MORPHEUS

Hey, Yessi, I feel your pain.
I live just south of you in WI, and my furnace took a shit Sat.
The repairman wanted to replace the main blower assy for $1300.00.
I did some troubleshooting and it turned out a $6.00 resistor needs to be replaced.
Had to order off the net and it is suppose to be here today
I have a pellet stove and it is barely keeping up

The high limit switch will malfunction alot too...they are fragile

6ohmax, I like your avatar, ole popcorn was a funny man, also inspiring.
I had 120 volts right to the motor and did a search on the web and found that this blown resistor was a common problem on Bryant furnaces.
After I got it apart you could see it was fried

Furnaces are fairly easy to trouble shoot ... good money in HVAC but ill do it myself

i used to clean air ducts and every house that i went to the furnace was different
