worm farming?

is worm farming worth the time and effort?

can anyone give me some advice on worm farming or point me in the direction of a site for worm farming? i am trying to get a true living organic system going and im really interested in worm faroming for castings and also worm tea.

There are a couple different ways but I would start by building a box for your worms and start with a good soil to put in it(worms need food too)---I love night crawlers--They are big and produce fast-----you could make a box out of particle board or compressed wood then line in with a gunny-sac and fill with soil-----you will probably want to keep the box on some pond liner and the soil need to be very moist but not sat(do not line the outside or inside with plastic---the box/soil/worms must breath---the box should be keep ed in a cool dark place--soil needs to be cool not warm---every couple of months take the soil out and sift threw and save your worms and start over. should be some really good rich soil...yum:mrgreen:
