Blu Moon is a great line. Id still be using their nutes except i like to experiment. Was just down at their kent location last weekend and short dude with glasses hoo,ed me up with a capacitor from a junk ballast. Highly suggest Indoor Garden supply to PNW growers.

Remember me whining on and on about my bad luck with this strain (and right after a bad "Blue Cheese" start from the same breeder). I actually gave away 2 good sized plants at 30days veg due to it's "finicky" nature with nutrients and lighting. Someone here on WOH (Shaggin maybe?) said to "hang in there" the strain does pick up in flower. So...I kept one of the smaller "runts" for myself as a challenge since the flower tent was free. Believe it or not, I transplanted from a solo cup to a little 5 quart (1.25g) "Sterlite Handy Pail" I had laying around for rinsing perlite. I couldn't see wasting water /nutes on this "high sadity chick" and the watering volume came out to 1/2gal with the hole spacing I picked. I tossed in some chunky perlite for the res and threw in some straight coco on top as is my "baseline" for any comparison. Well...it's been growing like a weed....I have to move the 400W HPS every day about 4" and it's only 18days into 12/12. It's like it's not even missing the 2gal buckets I normally use. I do have to water every other day though. But, sadly she's still a troubled girl...I looked her over last night for 30 minutes with a magnifying glass looking for female pistols. I found 1 on one main stalk and 2ea. on the others. This plant is looking pretty and healthy but I'll bet this runs a 10-12 week flower period. My Sharksbreath will finish faster and it's at 22 days veg.

I think Shaggn and I both told you to hang in there but besides that you did take the advise, Great Job! I believe she will finish alot sooner than 10 - 12 weeks, as she is a slow starter she will amaze you as she starts to slow her stretch and begin throwing pistols like crazy. I can't find my note book but I believe the last time I ran LSD, I finished it at 8 1/2 weeks.

Sharksbreath at 22days from seed ....gotta love those fat Indica leaves. My FIM procedure failed. So I have a a couple of FIMAFIM's ("fuck I missed a FIM) and they kept growing a main stalk with 4 sets of clipped leaves. I removed the 4 "clipped" fan leaves at the main stalk thinking it would help stimulate the associated inter-nodes but they kept trucking on the mains. Due to the short stature of this pair at 22days from seed and the fat Indica leaves I don't fear any super stretching...so I'll just leave them alone in hopes of some fat-ass main colas. There's a lot of "percolation" going on around the center anyway. I could miss the FIM again and I'm way behind the clock after a couple of bad strain choices this year (meds getting low).
This is a time lapse of the pair over the past week after the FIM attempt.

Jela10, I must say she certainly looks chipper and in good spirits. Nice dark leaves and a sturdy base. Seem's you've also mastered the 5 quart and 2 gallon. Perhaps a 2.5 gallon hempy would be the ultimate sweet spot where the stars align for little miss Blue Cheese. Shaggn did mention that holding in there was worth the wait. I'm surprised to see that an indica would flourish so slow. Look forward to watching her progress to the end.

Sorry I didn't remember you too Tex...I actually did a search within WOH for "LSD" and only 10 posts came up. Only 4 of which were posts with "LSD" in them....this forum has some serious issues, goes offline almost every day and the search feature is limp at best. Thanks for your incouragement to keep this biotch in my small stable. I seriously want to smoke this thang. I might even save some for the "WOH Convention" in Colorado that Watt's is hosting.

In looking at those leaves, I had to run over to the attitude for a more indepth look into this lovely lady. After reading the description, I'm drooling to see these short stout fat-cola'ed beauties secreting a creamy white fluid all over themselves. Is it true that she's a gluttonous pig and loves feasting on the delectable CNS-17? I would have to work her feedings separately, if I chose to give her a run. She sure has some pretty fans though. I'd stare at em for hours!

These are the same size and maker of the buckets I use. I water every 2-3 days, usually 3, but I'm on the dry em out good side of the fence. I am growing smaller plants in a scrog though, but I still get a respectable yield using these buckets all the way through my grow.

Hi WOH.

Not been on RIU as much lately. My boss is trying to give me more responsibilities at work so i've been mad busy. Juggling work and the 'hobby' is proving difficult atm. ... LOL. All the same Ive just added another super large reflector and 600W Lumatek digi and have increased my SOG numbers. Hopefully post pics later.

Peace.

Moe good for you, with the Job anyway and the added 600 where did u put it, your space is so limited?

So who wants to play, "Grow a Hempy?" Not a contest, just comparing growing and styles I have this seed I'm thinking about using, it was a freebie Delicious seeds AUTO Cheese Candy...But maybe an auto is not challenging enough? Maybe the Kush or something? We got a few with 2 seeds...maybe that would be better...

Hey moe how is that pump working for watering your 2L. Do you think a standard sump pump would work as well.
The pump works great. Its able to pump till about the last 2mm of the water bin. Being able to mix the solution and have it on tap is invaluable when feeding so many plants. I no longer use the spray-gun, I just fill watercans and hand feed.

The new reflector, ballast and nutrients.

I'll be using the 'Hesi' coco brand for a while. Its 1 part for grow and 1 part for bloom. Very simple. .. I'll just add whatever additives I want.

Manage to get the GDP to purple. ... Changing the 'on' period to daytime was essential, as this provided the cool nights. I also think a little (N) included with the Lucas formula has helped. Still about 2 weeks to go me thinks. ... I have 6 at this stage, can't wait for the other 150.

Guys, atm I don't have a working computer at home. I can follow on my T.V but cannot respond (until I buy the bluetooth keyboard).

It'll be 2 weeks before I'm back to my talkative self but i'll try and update WOH every few days until then.

Happy Hempyneering!
